2026 County Hurdle

Henderson said County for Joyeuse on the FF podcast.
Yeh he did thats exactly why I backed for both , because i honestly think hendo can get confuzzled sometimes. He would also not really decide, JP would depending on ratings!
Surely most people keen would back for both to be sure right ?

I don't get why you'd back the horse for two races, 5 furlongs in distance apart, just because you like the horse for one race. Doesn't make sense to me

I see Khrisma has shortened slightly in the last few days so could she be JP's and Hendo's main County dart and Joyeuse for another race?

….presume the Morebattle still carries a Festival bonus, plenty in there with an entry for this.

Does the Morebattle still have the bonus if following up at Cheltenham?

If so, surely they have a go if they win at Kelso. Be interesting if there’s any WTAF nearer the time.

I read Sixandahalf as a prime WTAF bet based on the stable tour.

Cromwell isn't going to dismiss the bonus if it's on offer

The Morebattle definitely has the potential to impact the County.

First place prize money is very similar for both races (circa £60K last year). Must be very appealing for connections to take in the Morebattle and then have the prospect of a £100K bonus at the Festival.

They obviously don’t, and quite rightly shouldn’t, give a toss about ante-post punters wanting them to keep the potential 5lb penalty up their sleeves for Cheltenham.

Both the horses I fancy (at decent ew prices) for the County have Morebattle entries. Joyeuse 25/1 and Hamlet’s Night 33/1. Noticed some Morebattle blue for Hamlets today, hopefully, just a reaction to his warm up run (win) on the all weather at Kempton last night.
