2026 County Hurdle

I’m assuming Roc Dino very unlikely to get in here?

Number 47 for this, 43 for the pipe. Doesn’t look good.
Be fine I reckon.
Not been through the lists just yet, but there is usually plenty multiple entered and plenty more that aren't likely runners.
I'll have a look later.

Same here. Just checked the ranking. Could be tight though 🤷‍♀️
I doubt the county will fill again.
Last 2 seasons it didn't to the point anyone who declared got in (from memory)
Pipe will likely be similar this year. It's definitely light on JP, Elliot and Mullins entries already

Was just thinking that afterwards, a lot of horses are entered pipe, county and coral so be plenty spread across the 3 races.

Karbau would be on 11st8lb if Ndaawi stays in, which isn't the end of the world

Do we think Sinnatra is the Skelton horse for this now? Got his 5th run in the other day. Can't find anywhere official on him though.

The County Hurdle. Tellherthename will be having his first run for us. His work is as good as you can get a horse to work. I can assure you under there is a very good horse. He’ll be ready.

“Sinnatra also runs. The least it’s going to do is educate him. I think off that mark it’s not beyond him. We might just be dealing with a child in a grown-ups race. But there would be no better race to put it altogether than the County Hurdle.

….Lads 40-1 NRNB Tellherthname might not last long.

Jazzy Matty is interesting for this race.
I assume they may want to go back for the grand annual which he won off a mark of 135 last year.
But he's rated 143 this year.
He has been 14-1 for the race and into a general 10-1 but no massive signals that they are backing him for it
He only has the one handicap chase entry but is entered in the County and martin Pipe.

I find it interesting they entered in these two and his hurdles mark is only 130.
He won the boodles off a mark of 125.
You could easily make a case that he'd have a shout over hurdles. Most of his hurdles races he's held up and clearly not being put into the race as they have always seen him as a handicapper so not running on merits most of the season, even when with Elliott.

His hurdles runs this season have gone unnoticed cos everyone sees him as a chaser.
And the yard are very shrewd operators.

Not heard anything from them as far as I can see.
He's still only 7 years old so I don;t see him as an ageing chaser losing his speed.
Just seems odd to even enter in the hurdles I reckon.

40-1 NRNB added to my team for this.
probably money back but would be popular in this market as soon as and if he's intended to run.

I thought so the other day, was given no chance to win the race, just gunned out in front until he tired, looked like a good workout & a perfect qualifying run, was not on my radar at all for the race but after they crossed the line I backed him for this.

Ah sorry, I watched the Huntingdon race and thought if they ran him again he'd be one to back for this race, got myself in a kerfuffle mixing up Huntingdon & Warwick as after warwick I backed him, apologies, I'm having an interesting day full of errors.

I think they fancy this one more than the comments suggest.
They've had a couple lined up for this race who have gone down so it's fair to say Sinnatra won't have been the first on the list for the race, but they say there's plenty of talent in there.
Skelton talks about him being a baby etc, I think they're expecting a big run....

….presume the Morebattle bonus still applies, maybe last WTAF offers of this season.
