2026 Champion Hurdle

Codd piece answers the question....

Lossiemouth or Brighterdaysahead in the Irish Champion Hurdle?

"Neither! I still think we’re yet to see the best of Anzadam . He shaped very well in the Fighting Fifth on his first run in open company, and his last run here at Christmas was just a disaster. I think he’s better suited to being held up, so I hope they adopt those tactics on Sunday. He has to still have some improvement to come."

That's for all you Anzadam fans.

He was held up at Newcastle and still couldn’t win. Then blew up at Xmas acting like a lunatic.

Last chance saloon for 2 WPM runners today I think. Majborough being the obvious other one.

Yeah, he’s one that I’ve never seen as a hurdler at the top level, but I do think he came on for the ff run last time, and considering what happened last time he did well to finish that close imo.
So proper jockey today I’ve dabbled with the wtaf.

I'm no Poniros fan, but he looked very well in the paddock, couldn't have a Golden Horn on that ground though, he looked well is all I'm saying.

Gives them a reason to go Mares now with Lossie I fear. They still shouldn't though...

Hard work that. Lossy never looked happy did she. No idea what they'll do with her now.

At least we know Anzadam goes County😄

That will do nothing to tell us where Lossie will run.
Unless they tell us straight out.
BDA probably slightly in the better position.
Paul not got any other ride really though.
You'd think he'll be pushing for her to go champion.

Lossie was never going

Was getting slaps down the neck miles out and finished legless

Was nice of wille to run a pacemaker for BDA lol

Agree. Think she'll go CH but she'll have to be better.

Alexei's race to lose🤣

Paddy Power and Hills going 7/1 Lossiemouth Champion Hurdle

BDA at Cheltenham, I'm not so sure, but she's got a great chance again.

I'd say she'd be a cert to go Mares now.
On that run today she'd not beat Wadhooh. That said, we all know she's a 10lb better horse at the Festival. As PT doesn't have a CH horse then my money would be on her going CH. Let's face it, the race isn't up to much at all.

Remember as well, BDA is 0-2 at Cheltenham. Would have Lossie odds on in a match against her at the track, personally.
