2026 Champion Hurdle

So TNL beats SG, SG gets rerouted to the Champ Chase, con hill becomes the super sub for the Churdle 254/1 double. Easy this game innit 👀

Even if TNL beat SG, just can't imagine SG going champion chase with no prep run over fences and one career chase start to his name. Doesn't sound something that Henderson would do but he is currently saying constitution hill is going to run on the flat 🤣🤣

SG's raw speed and ability probably means he loses very little over his hurdles, despite not being the most economical over them.

He just looks like a chaser to me.

Spot on. It didn’t stop him dispatching them readily last time, and mightn’t stop him winning this!….just wished I was on him, but far too risky ante post.
 
I find it a little off that Henderson is going to run constitutional hill in a flat maiden in the middle of February
And he’ll get an entry today in the champion hurdle
I really hope they fully intend on running as if he’s just a reserve for gino then they go on to say they’re not running cos they’re looking after him
I’d find that disturbing

I.e if we have gino in the race we’ll not risk killing the horse but if not fucking go for it

We will see but this is what it reeks of.
Hopefully they both run along with the mare
 
I'd guess they want to see something from him in the flat race. Some sign that he retains ability and interest in racing... Before chucking him back over hurdles.

It’s not ability and interest that’s been an issue though has it.
He’s having a look where he stands as a flat horse whilst ticking over.IMO

Yea, jumping has been the obvious issue. But the only time he's actually completed in the last four he's not really given a conclusive answer to ability and interest has he. And I appreciate he jumped poorly there also.

There's also the chance he shows too much on the flat run and gives them an excuse to stay there, agreed.

I’d say it’s odds on he doesn’t run in the champion if sir Gino is fine.
But they’ll run him if Gino isn’t

The flat run is just Henderson having a jumpers bumper like he loves to do. And also trying to tick off a maiden so they can go arsing about on the flat in the summer.
He’s already ruled out the ascot gold cup by the way (for fan boys)
Because he won’t stay apparently 😂 fucking muppet
Think they’re targeting the nunthorpe 🤗
