2026 Champion Bumper

😂 he likely to go Champion Bumper if it goes well?

I haven't asked

And I don't think its their 'thing' is it

More likely Punchestown

Someone will know, has Brassil had a champ bumper runner lately?

This is what I'm thinking.

Going to double him with Arcadian Emperor in the Champion Bumper... So I can take some consolation if he beats Heldam.

You've certainly got the price for this one!

Getting the price the easy part, now just needs to get the job done.

…P Mullins;

And the Mullins team take the wraps off a fascinating prospect in the shape of Heldam in the closing bumper.

“I really like him. I only rode him one point-to-point last year, and he actually won on the day I was there, so I got to see him when up close and he was impressive," the jockey smiled.

“I was delighted when we got him. He's a very cool dude at home. He's kind of like the fella playing football who you think isn’t concentrating, but when the ball comes to him he sticks it into the top corner from 30 yards. His work has been really nice, I'm really happy with him and looking forward to the ride.”

…W Mullins re Heldam;

He has come to us with a good reputation after winning a point-to-point and is a fine, big, horse who looks like a proper bumper type. Hopefully he can go very close.

That Niall Madden horse at Leopardstown got an interesting name. Not how I read it first time...

…..terrific effort, just one too good. Happy to have got 16-1 e/w, thanks Jim.

What could have been if he managed to settle

Was still pulling 5 out when jockey just ended up letting him go on, could have been the losing of the race potentially. Obviously looking at pre race antics, he's a bit of a mad cunt, but would have loved him to try bury him amongst them instead of being stuck out on the wing but never mind, got EW money, not quite the big bucks!

….Mullins re Arcadian;

‘He’s a lovely big chasing type, carries weight well and will handle this ground. He’s a horse we’re looking forward to running.’

Let’s hope he’s fit (ish) and puts a marker down for this, yet to be blown away just yet
