Not all firms have this priced up but probably worth opening a thread now as the stable tours roll-out and the season gets underway.

Skerry Hill learning on the job today but went away nicely at the end.

Looked to turn into a bit of a sprint which wouldn't have been ideal.

Has Ronnie Bartlett ever had a runner in the Bumper? Genuinely can't think of one

Doesn't sound like Skerry Hill will be seen much this season according to Gordon, which is a shame.

"He's a lovely horse. He's a baby, very green, but he's a lovely horse - we like him.

"You probably won't see much more of him this year. He's a big chaser in the making and that's the type of horse that Ronnie Bartlett buys."

Gordo potentially has one who has a bloody good write up in OJA and features in the top 40.

Grangeclare Park at 16s (Hill) is definitely one I’m backing. Stable tour write up below…not a full guarantee he’ll stay in bumpers for the season but good enough for me.

“We like this guy, especially Lisa [O'Neill, assistant]. He worked really nicely the other morning at Navan when we took him away and he's showing us all the right signs at the moment. He was impressive when he won his point for Colin Bowe and he'll start off in a bumper shortly.”

Alternatively is 12s in TWAR

He won his only point-to-point and he won his bumper at Punchestown in April on his debut under Rules. He won nicely, and that bumper is working out well. He’ll stay down the bumper route now. He's in the bumper at Cheltenham on Sunday, and the plan is to go there.

Time to get some priced up fill it out a bit :ROFLMAO:

My first interest of the season in this today. I have 2 going up against each other. Grangeclare Park was one of my first antepost bets which is very unusual for me to be backing a bumper horse so early but there has been a lot of noise about Grangeclare Park. I have 2 others backed in Heldam and Kanzler but Lultimatom was also on the list. Not sure him being out so early for Willie is a positive but obviously has potential. Fascinating race on a day of very interesting races.

Wanted to add a horse called Nimba as one to watch. Won a bumper at Catterick easily the other week, quickening up to finish 7 1/2 lengths ahead of the 2nd. Don't think he beat much but he was well backed so clearly was expected and the time was decent. Good for the Bowen yard to have a nice horse and well worth seeing where he goes next, hopefully with one eye on this.

What the hell is this gamble in the Bumper Lets Go La Fichad 50/1 into 7/2 :oops::oops:

Strange race. Grangeclare looks like the rest of his siblings :D

May have needed it but not too clever

Winner backed from 66's this morning

Winner did it really well. 25/1 for Bumper and for sale if anyone is interested

Kind of tells it's own story. I think there were a few primed to the gills in that race ready to be sold on. Aqua Force springs to mind.

….interesting Bumper at Navan this afternoon given Elliott has used it for some of his better ones; Sir Gerhard, Envoi Allen & American Mike. Heads up was placed last year for J McConnell before doing the same at the Festival.

This time, Elliott runs two. The market suggests Keep him Company is the Elliott first string, J H Williamson rides Panjandrum (did ride Keep him Company on his last run).

Maybe a race to watch.

Backed me 1st in the bumper yesterday, even though i thinks its to early but here we go again.
Charismatic Kid 25/1 with 365
