2025 Triumph Hurdle

Let’s hope he fares better than Zillow, as he was bought with the same plan and I’m still waiting on him hitting the track. Any ideas what happened with him?

Deliberately held back for this year as he needed time to mature … apparently.

Cheers for the update. That’s always the conundrum with those imports at Willie’s that are off the flat or still novices.

Had a drive to the nearest Hill's today to hop onto the Murcia train (and a couple of others) before FJ kills it's price :welcoming: I am way too late for Willy De Houelle. I can't have 5/1. Roll ups galore for that one when i see a window. Iv'e left Sauvignon alone but left it in the book. I want to see what Nicholls says first. Murcia, Charlus, Sony Bill have all had varying amounts. I have also backed Fou De Toi at a big price in the hope he is on his way over. I know Sauvignon was in front of him and the winner looks very good but Nicholls and Triumph, hmmmmmm

Make things a bit easier I've compiled a quick list, just from the horses on oddschecker of trainer/owner

Stencil is a very interesting one.

Pulled like a train for 10F in his one Hurdle race, then came on the snaff between 2 out and one out, and won hands and heels.

Hopefully he get plenty of GB entries, and a chance to prove himself in at least one race at Cheltenham over the winter.

If he does then JP would probably want him involved at the Festival

Great stuff. Never even heard of Sainte Lucie but just had a browse. The form is pretty poor, it's a strange buy for connections. I had Capbello Dino in my tracker but removed him. I thought the breeding was top notch but the horse hasn't delivered (yet) looked the type to go to Willie's for Patrick to work with being a young Doctor Dino horse. Both still young though and all develop at different times. I am sure folk like Harold Kirk know more about talent spotting than me though. You could write on the back of a stamp in block capitals what i know about knowing what a young horse should look like :welcoming::welcoming:

Yeah he certainly won with what looked a nice bit of class.

I can see him taking in that Triumph Trial at HQ, following the route Noel & Amanda went with the JP recruit Milan Tino, that will tell us alot more about him.

Ricci is a sucker for a Great Pretender

Thought I'd seen that somewhere but couldn't find confirmation, have amended the post.

If anyone knows of any others pop em in and I'll edit the post.

May not be quoted Jim but possibly worth including in the list? They might be relevant for the Fred Winter?

Sophie Power - M Fitzgerald - H Dicken
Nardaran - ?? - P Nicholls
Marche D'Aligre - ?? - J Snowden
Latopix - ?? - J Snowden
Kotgar - ?? - E Williams
Saucats - ?? - D Pipe
Morning Air - Price et al - V Williams
Roi De Baviere - ?? - F O'Brien
Irisante - ?? - D Jeffrey's

There should be a list of baby Joseph horses coming off the flat soon too. I believe they will be included in OJA.
