Firefox shortening for this over the past few days on the exchange, I wonder with Jack Kennedy being back this has caused a rethink?

I would love Firefox to turn up in the Arkle I must say

Far too heavily invested in him from early season :couple_inlove:

Absolutely!

I know in the GA it was said good ground would lead to the step up in trip, but I think he got stuck in the ground last year and in general needs good ground to be effective

Cromwell has said edging towards the Mares Chase, with the forecasted ground. Said would need something to go wrong with Maj to win.

Presume Bio and Brides Hill defeats have had a little impact on the decision too

Monbeg Parks win yesterday at Leopardstown gives Gorgeous Tom’s form a good franking, he brushed him aside quite easily twice at the back end of last year. He’s looked to be crying out for a step up in trip especially when doing his best work late in a very slowly ran Drinmore. The dry forecast will be a big bonus too.

25/1 in the antepost section with B365 is a solid e/w play for me. I can’t see better ground suiting a few of these at the top of the market.

Also links in with Jordans, Sequestered & Thecompanysargeant.

…Ballyburn boosted 7/4 with 365.

Is there any record of a horse winning a G1 novice chase after only 5 lifetime runs. El Fabiolo had 7 prior to his Arkle win. Western Warhorse 6 including his P2P. Maj just seems to be such a potential trends buster if he wins.

He’s already won a Grade 1 Novice Chase after only 4 previous runs

Fact to File can't have had many more.

I wouldn't have it as a big concern like. And a trend due to circumstance more than anything.

Florida Pearl? Bit before my time that...

Really want Only By Night to run in the Arkle. She's jumps fences like a dream and could really test Majboroughs jumping when asked. I think if he makes it around, he wins. I wasn't blown away with his jumping LTO but I do forget he's inexperienced.
I do believe there's a rick in there, it's just weather it'll be a big one or not imo

FTF had 7 but yeah Florida Pearl had just the 5 runs including his P2P. Great to see it’s been done is all.

Banc is still a small field. Going to be 5 or 6 runners most likely

the changes have simply meant we dont get to see impaire et passe and croke park at the festival

can they change the 2m4f race back to a grade 1 for next year please.
