2025 Novice Chasers

Bostons Angel at 16's
Rule Supreme at 25/1
Can't recall many other double figure winners since the turn of the century.

That's 5 then that have won outside of the top 3 in the betting on the day in the last 25 years.
Which one outside of this year's top 3 could Surprise??

Have to say that was actual amazing how close Majborough came to winning it given those final 2 jumps

Great race

Was begging for the line as an Only The Night backer, but incredible by Nico.

Maj has had jumping concerns and they've let him down eventually, somewhat similar to El Fab but he got away with it

I was going to say the jump at the last cost maj the race but looking at the replay jango baie made an almost identical mistake

300/1 in running apparently

Bet the person who layed that needs a stiff drink now

Was a champ esque finish

had 3 in a 5 runner race, 3rd 4th and 5th :welcoming::welcoming: feck me. You can have that one bookies. Rest of the meeting is mine. 33/1 on L'eau Du Sud too :upset:

Loved that after the last from Jango the super sub.
Did not go how I thought it would the race and imo a tad fortunate to win, but take it.
Way he ran he might have won today’s novice.
Mid distance his forte I think but ground could see him a threat over 3m I reckon.

It'll be some effort from Ballyburn to win from here. Looking very awkward.

Well done to all those that took the 100/1!!!!!!

Covered him last minute myself as the outside of the field but nice result for the book builders….

Yeah, big price, well done guys :encouragement:

Your two market favs completely blow out - and you've still got one to hack up!

Ballyburn was grim. Miles too keen and deliberate over his fences. Stayers horse...

I'd be astonished if anything from that was near Gold Cup class.

A year for the book builders its safe to say. Fair play to the lads with Lecky at proper big prices.

The cliff horse wins when I've finally jumped off him.

I will absolutely be listening to trends more for next year :acne:

The trends did get it right but without the mistake two out majborough would surely have won and had Sir gino made the gig i think he would have pissed in but end of the day they've gotta jump round or get there so the trend stands !
