Interesting with no quotes leaking from anywhere suggests it’s either insider money or a fake gamble driven by the enemy.
 
I don't think we'll be any the wiser re Ballyburn when Mullins Stable Tour comes out other than knowing whether he'll go chasing. They'll just say he can step up in trip or drop down in trip and that all options are open. He'll be entered in everything. It'll be the same situation as last season unfortunately and we'll be discussing it until a week before the Fez. Just need to cover every angle.

I very much doubt that if he has been campaigned over a certain trip all season and say he wins at the DRF over 2m they then decide to send him over 3m. Only very extreme circumstances would cause that.

You’re right about the stable tour it’ll be chasing or hurdling and that’ll be about it.

Yeah, I suppose it does make life easier without the Turners option. DRF will be deciding factor.
 
Edging Arkle for me ....maybe 59/41.....but only because of the current betting which didn't help us at all with him last season.
 
I have absolutely no idea. I ve backed him for champion hurdle, but wouldn’t touch him for a novice chase. Rightly or wrongly I just think that ballyburn stinks as a chaser

And Henderson has not ruled out the possibility of switching fellow Grade One scorer Sir Gino over to fences after there was money for the four year old for the Arkle earlier this week.

Henderson added: “Everybody told me that there had been money for Sir Gino going over fences, but I haven’t ruled it in and I haven’t ruled it out.

“We have just got to see how everything pans out. Don’t forget Joe (Donnelly, owner) owns State Man as well. We are keeping all the balls in the air.”

Shame 5 year olds don’t get the same weight for age as the use to. Would add a lot of spice to the race if Gino and ballyburn rocked up in arkle with Gino getting 8lb. We all talk about how hard it is as a 5 y/o but then don’t give them the support they need.

I thought it depended on how Constitution Hill was regardless of State Man? Was Nicky out with Guinness Village last night?

Has there been any word for Chigorin for Henry De Bromhead?

No mention in the Attheraces stable tour, but is a big price for the BANC at 66/1.

Not seen anything myself. Wonder how easy he is to keep sound, as had a fair break before returning in the Bartlett with a well below par run, then not seen again.

If anything I'd see him as a handicapper. Henry surely has better options.

I'm expecting Inthepocket to win well today, hardly inspiring stuff, given he's now a 4/7 shot, but after that I'm then expecting him to be beat on the way to the festival before dotting up, A Plus Tard style, in the 2m4f novices handicap chase.
 
I was in two minds as to whether to add Inthepocket before the race, but I'm glad I did now. That was really impressive for me and I love how quick he gets his legs down after his fences. Proper 2 miler I reckon although he probably didn't beat much with Farren probably unfit

….into 10-1 in most places for Arkle.
