Current prices;

BDA 5/2
Lossie 10/3
JdG 7-1
Golden Ace 10-1
Kargese 12-1
Dysart 14-1
Kala Conti 16-1

Those 7 could easily not turn up.

Golden Ace and Dysart Enos are the solid ones to be aimed here at the moment. I think Gordon was teasing about the Champion Hurdle with BDA. Even without Con Hill she doesn't get near State Man or Lossiemouth, probably not near Sir Gino either with the expected improvement. Willies should become clear when he declares either JDG or Kargese in a hurdle. Joyeuse and Zenta are ones to keep an eye on for me at bigger prices as is Gala Marceau as alluded by Paul. There are genuine excuses for Gala and she was going toe to toe with Lossie for a season. Zenta has the excuse of an interrupted season and looked impressive before that and Joyeuse could improve any amount. I love picking the bones out of the fields until there are none left. Some horses i suggest sometimes might seem daft but i try and upturn every stone until i am happy that i have scrutinised as much as i can to be left with a 'book'

Yeah Yosser, take no chances.

Still waiting on news re Golden Ace setback. Ascot/Wetherby were highlighted as a potential starting point but those meetings past now. Hopefully we'll see an entry soon.

I believe Jeremy meant the 2m3f Ascot Hurdle - which takes place on November 23rd. It's a £100,000 pot so great prize money. If she's not entered in there, I'd say it's time to panic a little bit...

AHH, ok. That's better news. Thanks for clarifying RTC. Fingers crossed She's entered up as for me she's the winner.

What’s the view around Golden Aces run yesterday and whether she enhanced her Mares hurdle chances or not?

For me she looked light, particularly when compared against the boys and seemed to be running a great race until the last couple of flights

Was she just not race fit?…….are we sure she will stay the 2 1/2 mile trip of the Mares Hurdle?

For me she looked all speed and may be better suited to the Champ Hurdle, which based upon BDA’s run yesterday, may suit her better than chasing the relentless gallop that BDA will most likely set in the Mares Hurdle to ensure its a true test

She's not long been back in after pulling muscles. Trainer fully expected her to need it but wanted to get a race into her. She came there to win and understandably blew up. I thought it was a very nice run back. Judge her on her next run:eagerness:

Thanks Lobos

The bookmakers think the same as they didn’t move her price yesterday and even after BDA had shortened significantly post the Morgiana

Got to be the best each way value going at the moment, as I can’t see three Mares being better than her at Cheltenham

A drop back to 2 miles and against the boys again in the Xmas Hurdle potentially the next race for Golden Ace.

I heard she didn't scope 100% before the race but they were happy to run her still. They think very highly of her!

Wish I knew what’s happening with Kargese and JDG
Anyone heard anything lately?

According to yesterday stable tour:

Kargese Hurdling
JDG and Gala not sure as came in late and haven't schooled yet

Kargesse....

"She's very hard on herself, but she must be a seriously tough mare to do what she did last season. She was so keen at Aintree and had such a hard race when denied by Sir Gino that it was difficult to believe she could come back and win at Punchestown, but that's what she did. She has to be a Mares' Hurdle contender, but she'll need to learn to race with less enthusiasm if she's to stay that trip"

Think his two in the MH will be Kargesse and JDG with Gala going chasing.
