2025 Antepost flat racing

Cornucopian is a must bet at 25/1 given his Arkansas declaration

About time we end up with some big winners on this thread after hitting the bar so many times with Sierra Leone last year upon a load of others which we got value on and havent won, hopefully good cheer breaks that streak happy to be on double figures

I'm just hoping my flat betting makes it past royal ascot this year

Iv had a ridiculous amount of value losers at the last two years

The Lincoln on Saturday

Usually look for a 4 or 5 year old rated high 90s- low 100s, that hasn't had a run

Unfortunately the 2 that fit that profile best are thunder run and midnight gun who are first and 2nd fav haha

Midnight gun has been gelded and has a 2nd over course and distance so perhaps I'd side with him of the two

Lattam looks the e/w play at 12s. Great record fresh and in this type of race. The type who will run well but lose to something better handicapped.

Tarima makes her debut tomorrow for dermot weld

Half sister to tarnawa and tahiyra

No entries for any of the guineas only in the Irish oaks

donnacha also has Crystal ball a half to multiple group 1 winner tepin

Opened up 9/4 also.

Loved Tarnawa and Tahiyra.

She won nicely as the money suggested she would

One to keep an eye on over 1m2f-1m4f

Henri matisse also won doing what he always seems to do. Getting badly outpaced then rattling home. Good ride from ryan.

Swelter looked decent too but nothing out of the ordinary. A good effort on just her 2nd start. By kingman out of a half sister to midday she is bred to be smart.

Yeah she has an Irish Oaks entry. I'd be thinking her trip is 1m2f - 1m4f like you say.

Know next to nothing about Aussie racing, but how is Dubai honour 11/4 for the tancred, surely he'll go off near even money?

Easy as that :applouse:, nice winner leading into aintree and ending my seconditis run of form

Why is the craven meeting not this week

It's going to be so close to the guineas most horses won't run

Prague for the Lockinge stakes at 33/1 is worth a small punt, goes to Sandown on the 25th for the G2 over a mile for his prep, not sure who'll be riding but Tudhope will be very unlikely, GL.

It may seem silly to be putting one up for the chester cup without knowing the draw, but I see AOB has London City in there at 16/1 as his only entry. He won well at York off top weight over 12f recording a decent rpr and this is a meeting O'Brien likes to target.

Case in point is cosmic year who ran at kempton tonight. Would surely have run at the craven meeting had it been this week.

He is now 6/1 generally for the guineas after winning very stylishly

He's bolted up on both starts now

Clocked a top speed over 42mph

Interesting race to watch at Newbury tomorrow

Queen of thieves, full sister to cracksman

takes on

Serenity prayer, by dubawi out of peach tree who is a full sister to love

Many oaks contenders will start making their debuts/having their first runs at 3 from now

Just a race to keep an eye on i reckon

The Craven meeting has always been too close to the Guineas weekend.

Its always needed pushing back a week giving 3.5 weeks between races, to give those horses running in a trial the chance to run well in both.

Another of a fixture nonsense weve been carrying for years, like Aintree often being too close to the Festival at Cheltenham

The Lincoln meeting is also too early

Having the Lincoln on the weekend then the craven a few days later would be a proper start to the flat season

Tracker horses that interest me tomorrow:

Mountain Breeze
Rashabar
Crown Of Oaks
Secret Theory

Early in the season so anything can happen.

Checked after work and he was 5/2 so seems plenty saw the same

Won first time out last season
Will love the ground
Ancient wisdom will either hate the ground or be a non runner
Sunway doesn't like winning
