2024 Triumph Hurdle (Juveniles)

It’s a tricky one
Luccia probably ran her best ever race
The others have run poorly.
I think I will still keep my Sir G bet going in the hope he will be ok.
I really like him and don’t want to watch him win after cashing out.

Mighty Bandit one of the first declared. 33s still available.

Every chance Gino is a non runner as well, based on Henderson pulling his today.

He's had a wind op since his last run too.

Sir Gino out to 9/4 now, another one reaching for the Benylin ? I hope not for my mate John's sake

I wouldn't say that's anyone "in the know" causing a drift. With the news of the other non runners it's natural that people will just start laying off their stake and backing other horses in case he does pull out.

Townend stuck with Storm Heart over Salvator Mundi then.

Hayes on Salvator would suggest he's down the pecking order? Tempted to cash out tbh. He's in a strange position in the market on jockey bookings. Or am I missing a Donnelly connection?

Mighty Bandit 50/1 - that will do for the BetMGM offer on Friday if still a stupid price. Kargese at 9/1 is an insult to her ability as well at the moment.

Gutted. Didn't fancy any other Henderson horses to win or even run well. Pulled his best chance odd one.

Sir Gino out

I've just actually read Nicky's statement. It is absolutely ludicrous. "Both horses appear to be in great shape but we cannot ignore the performances of of all our horses throughout this week ..."

If the horses are in great shape and your pulling them, surely the issue can only be with the trainer? Bad scopes, fair enough, pull them. But the mind boggles with this one.

He's pissed the bed, got back in it and Nico's pissed on top of him and then jumped in bed too.
A big wet pissy bed full of pissy pants.

The owners didn't piss, as they've got no balls (I know this is scientifically flawed) :loyal:

And I'm personally delighted as it suits every bet I've made. :encouragement: Three cheers for Nicky :applause:

Yeah it seems the fate was sealed with JDR & iberico lord. As he then started pulling all his horses. Not given his better chances a opportunity. I did think he might of learnt from the Champion Chase. Not saying Jonbon would of won but Ruby's comments were telling afterwards, saying you have to be in it to win it.

Luccia and lucky place ran huge career bests

He's protecting the string of 1's !!
He obviously doesn't know how any of his horses are going to run right now regardless of how they may appear. So he's not going to risk his new golden boy losing his unbeaten record.

What exactly is the point of that with geldings? I don't get it at all. Don't mean your comment, I mean the potential mindset for doing that.
