2024 Stayers Hurdle

Similar here, I have a small book covering the race but if FP storms home I'll rue not having him on board

Fergal o'briens reaction is going to be something special when crambo wins the stayers.
Going to be a special moment

Flooring Porter more likely to come here according to Gavin in the ATR piece.

One Slip , i can dig out of the bin then ??. :cower: .

Interesting that Janidil was left in this but taken out of the Ryanair... Might be an interesting one at a huge price? 66/1 available

Grand National prep perhaps?

Still don’t get the dismissal of Sir Gerhard

Won twice at festival …and his Bally win was on awful ground, so decent chance stays ….and Paul will ride I guess

His mid trip form reads 121

His 2m form reads F111113311

His 3m form reads: P9

Excluding his PTP, he had 2 runs at 3m and that was PU at Punchestown and 9/10 at Cheltenham beaten 46L

Definitely not saying he won't stay, but that's why he's being dismissed (and tbf he's short enough at 10/1, it's a fair price... you couldn't make him much shorter really?)

I watched last years festival again tonight and I'd forgotten just how quickly he emptied out. Turning in he looked like he might win, 5 strides later he was peddling water.

I've backed him but it's a worry for me.

No chance Sir G stays if Porter makes the pace.

With going drying quickly (currently G/S Soft in places) Irish Point may come back into reckoning for this. Gordon originally said he'd only run in Churdle if the going remained Soft.

One 3m Briwns chase and he clattered most which must tire best

He might not stay - but prove more than allows for it

If he does stay then must go close

My point on Sir Ger is not that he WILL stay….clearly I can’t say that

It’s that too many are putting a line straight through him that he WONT ….he is being too easily dismissed

The price therefore is good for such a quality horse with strong festival form

He is likely to shorten once assuming Paul takes ride …specially if Willie winning everything….so at least worth backing to lay off & have a free bet

For me he is on the list of potential winners with Tea, Crambo, Home, Flooring & Irish/Monk if they go

……looks like Monkfish is GC bound, not yet declared for this.

Really warming to Noble Yeats for this.

I just wonder if this was the plan for him this season. This is Emmet Mullins after all. He seems to be able to do what he likes, to some extent, and it comes off.

I've gone in again on him today.

I had the same the same thought yesterday COD, he could have a good week with it’s on the line and I see so Scottish has snuck into the county as well!
