2024 Stayers Hurdle

You'd have him fav over fecking Teahupoo surely?

I would :encouragement:
He was unlucky today and looked like he retains ability, but the confidence in jumping takes another blow and it sounded like Willie would not need much to revert.
He travels like a stayers hurdle type, and his jumping won't matter as much in that course.

Or for value.
If he races against Teahupoo at any stage how would people price it up ?

He could well end up being very good value, i'd have teahupoo obviously fav against him if they met, not sure by how much but that would all depend on conditions of the race, going etc.
I thought he was coming in to the race nicely just now , so the appetite for the game still seems to be there, that looked questionable at times last season.

Yeppp totally agree Q

I'm on, only as cover incase the frog horse underperforms mind :excitement:

the same teahupoo that beat honeysuckle in the hattons grace hurdle?

Hasn't set the world alight since has he

Honey likely done enough up near the front that day too on the ground, and teahupoo just picked her off

My suspicion is he returns to hurdles and proves he's just not that good (anymore). But time will tell. Questionable how good he ever was, even as a two time festival winner imo. But he looks to have declined considerably. They wouldn't have persisted with fences if they thought that was the sole issue imo.

And has 4 rprs in the 160s (168highest) compared with SG who has none and whose highest is 11 pounds lower than Teahupoos. Even Teahupoos 4yo rpr was only two pounds lower than SG ballymore win. Ive asked before but got no response…please can somebody give me a purely objective case for SG as my FOMO is raging right now. I am very willing to be converted (actually want to be) so any help would be appreciated from one of his legion of fans.

ps I am aware it’s harder to get high rprs in novice races but stacks have got higher than SG

He'd walk over him..... You listening Willie!!

If Davy would've just took to the rail coming down to the last instead of yanking him in the other direction he'd have won imo. Who the hell would want to be on Flooring Porters left coming to the last when you know he jinks that way.. mind blowing really. Glad Jack will be back on board come March for redemption day. Still hurts thinking about all them piss poor rides by Davy, yeah he was carrying an injury, but injury doesn't affect your decision making, and if it does you probably should be letting someone else take the ride. Pocket rant over apologies lol

whichever one that received a 160+ rpr, take your pick there's 4, sir gerhard has 0 160 + rprs :devilish:

I don't care re RPR's . Festival form is all that matters to me.
