Absolutely this. These time comparisons mean very little most of the time and can confuse the hell out of punters. I take no notice.

And to my eye Allaho put a hell of a lot into that performance. Not having him out for a jog :emmersed:

I'm all for Allaho turning up and winning like. It's what most want to see. And on his day he's unbeatable here. I just thought he looked tired at the finish yesterday and I'd be keen to see him run well again next time out. Or not and then back him for the Ryanair after anyway haha.

Was also impressed with ADV in general. But for the Mares not here.

I've backed Saint Roi so I hope he runs. :biggrin-new:

​​​​​​​Sir Gerhard should go back hurdling. Most of the rest must be likely runners though. Bronn and Saint Sam other Mullins horses that I think want this trip but don't seem to be on the radar for this week.

Mullins has so many top class chasers now he can't not run a bunch in these races. He could be properly mob handed here. He has mentioned Blue Lord for the Champion Chase though actually. He's not good enough for either imo but I guess he'd have less numbers in the CC at the moment, and a clear best.

Appreciate It is another that I'd have thought may be worth a look to go back to hurdles and try the Stayers. But Willie doesn't seem interested in that route.

Owners horses have run against each other before, can't see the issue.

Both winners of the race, deserve their shot.

Won't see me complaining if they go for a Gold Cup instead though!

Just had a few quid on him at 20.0 on betfair

Thought he ran a belter today, as good if not better than he ran in winning the race last year.

I thought he'd have been cut in price down to 10s-12s

Given the volume of non runners in the betting seemed a no brainer

He just won it so easily last year. Rach was tugging him back nearly all the way. If he gets there in the same form this year then he's going to be hard to beat again, Allaho or no Allaho. The prices they've been dangling are a little disrespectful imo. The horse won't care though.
