PP giving Nick Rockett a serious haircut
…looking like they all are, 8-1 best price NHC.

Can’t imagine that’s because of the entry
He is entered up all over
Doesn’t have an entry for a qualifier yet
Yep. He'll need that entry soon. Not many races available.
He’ll be earmarked for the grade 3 at Naas at the end of the month I’d have thought.
I am sure I heard Ruby say in the PP podcast that Embassy Gardens ( already qualified ) was going there and that leaves one at NavanHe’ll be earmarked for the grade 3 at Naas at the end of the month I’d have thought.
Corbetts Cross the one isn't he that could blow the race apart
Looks like he may run, would go off fav. and likely Derek
Allaho wasn't beaten out of sight, and Thistlecrack never ran in the Albert Bartlett mate? Paisley Park did though and you're right, he did return better than ever when winning a Stayers Hurdle the following season.
You're a fair judge, but to me it wasn't one of the best novice chases so far. Connections don't even know what to do with Corbetts Cross by the sounds of it, Three Card Brag I've already mentioned and Nick Rockett won well enough next time out but they seem to be thinking he's a Grade 2 animal, not the top level we were probably hoping for at the beginning of the season.
He certainly is one that looked like fences would bring out the best of him, and like I say, I may have got him wrong, either way I wish you the best of luck with him, but he's not for me![]()

They could run the 2 at Naas of course
….i thought Iroko was OFTS, seeing a couple of entries.
Willie likes lots of options so I'd be very surprised if nick rockett doesn't run in a race to get qualified
Looks like cocooner will get qualified if running on Saturday
Sandor clegane is in that race to, I'd say they are thinking Irish national for him unless he bolts up then he'd go BANC.
If Cocooner qualifies this weekend and with both Embassy Gardens and Meetingofthewaters being namechecked for the race those three will probably be it for Willie.
If Willie has Minella Cocooner and Embassy Gardens both qualified then Meetingofthewaters will go for the Ultima, IMO.
I'm sure the entry the other day was just a handicap mark finding mission, despite the declaration.
Will he stay 3m6f?
He'd be doubtful to imo, has plenty of speed
And doesn't jump the best
If he was fav and iv had a good start to day 1 I'd be going in heavy against him I reckon
They don’t seem think he’ll have any stamina issues anyway and there aiming at a GN next season
Jumping yeah but it’s the NHC not a RSA or Turners against proper top level graded horses
Just a poor quality field he’ll be by far the best horse in there if he shows ups , but yeah can pick holes in all them really
next season ?
I'd expect them to enter this year, much like Patrick's horse.
