Dark Raven (7 places) at 13/1 looks fair enough compared to Doctor Bravo and Inthepocket who are shorter in the betting.

He beat Doctor Bravo by 3L when they met, and a head behind Inthepocket (9L behind Il Etait Temps) in the G1 last time..... but bigger than either in the market

So hard to rule any of them out really for the places!

Big fan of Dark Raven and think he will be thereabouts for top 4. Inthepocket should confirm superiority with him though. He was impeded by FV when he fell into a hole at the DRF and lost momentum and ground at an important time which he had to claw back.

Can make so many cases for a lot of them though but Dark Raven is slightly the wrong price on the basis he is seen as the 4th string of Mullins.

No horse wearing any type of headgear has won since Flown in 1992 - Diverge in 1st time tongue tie for this. IET hooded again.

Does it say how many have tried since and their SP by any chance? I can't imagine many novices use headgear anyway?

Skybet have a UK horses only market race, which is quite interesting.

Tamuras - 4/5
Rare Edition - 7/2
Chasing Fire - 4/1
Strong Leader - 5/1
Palace Boy - 25/1

Virgin Bet have the RP comments up

I really Don't know , but i have a feeling it could be a " Labaik " sort of supreme . ??.:afro:.
i remember a preview night with Gordon and it might have been codd, they going thru their hurdlers when at the end elliott mentioned Labaik was their best worker at home in a kind of off the cuff remark, he was 50s that night too.

2 places, 1/4 the odds.

I don't want to get carried away on silly novely bets but I'd fancy Chasing Fire to beat all of them.

Will have 2 pts on him and forget about it

Diverge have so many trends to defy surely. IET not so much, apart from that one.

Finally Il Etait Temps getting some love. Into 6.4 on BFX. Vega drifting slightly to 3.75. Looks like 3/1 the field could be on. Great to see a competitive opener again!

"Facile Vega comes here in tremendous form, doing everything right at home." Mullins on FV.

That interview with Patrick didn't inspire confidence re Diverge. Words close to "We'll be hoping he settles and looking to pick up the pieces for 3rd or 4th".

I thought he looked much better when he was given his head and allowed to run free. Would prefer his chances front running.

Facile Vega going to be 3/1 at some point, I smell it.

5/1 Marine Nationale can't be far off now either.....

As predicted IET is being smashed up. If MN hit 6/1 or more I might go in as a saver. That would feel dirty.

Boyles have pushed him to 3/1 in their OFF the Fence enhancement. They must talk him up in their show.

Yeah, hoping this happens in the morning, or maybe even earlier. Fully expecting IET to be second fav soon enough so surely only a matter of time before a decent MN drift. Will be a good chance to top up. Might add a bit more on some of the outsiders too but don't want to go too crazy, lol.
