2023 Novice Chasers

Yeah quilixios always looked like a chaser. I would imagine he and sir gerhard may be kept apart so although I think he could be better over further there’s a good chance he’ll be the hdb Arkle horse.

Quilixios was so poor last year I won't be contemplating backing him for anything until iv seen him run and run well

Maxios also hasn't produced many good jumpers, quilixios is the only 150+ jumps horse hes sired

Yes agreed. Quilixios too. He and Teahupoo the ones that interests me most of those not already discussed.

Saint Felicien may end up down the handicap route, and Fil Dor will probably need another season.

I asked B365 to price Teahupoo for the arkle as he looks like one that could mop up some races on softer ground before Spring and be a shortener.
Probably fall short when it matters (not keen on his breeding) but that would depend on who lasts the season and gets to the festivals.
Anyway, they refused.:highly_amused::sorrow:

Anything 20-1 + would be a fair price.

Quilixios is no longer with Elliott. He’s with HDB, following Cheveley pulling their horses from Elliott.

Quilixios 50/1 for the arkle on paddy power, pretty decent price if you think the arkle is where he could end up if he gets back to form

Yeah he’s worth a punt at that price as is teahupoo twar 16/1 with wh. Both very fair imo

I like/want to like Teahupoo, but he seems so ground dependant it's difficult to be interested in antepost terms. Not a huge amount to get excited about on breeding either.

FinalFurlong91;n37 I'm hoping that none of this matters as the nice guy looked......... He was also a bit nuts so should be nice and brave and attack his fences[/QUOTE said:

Leaks coming out today that Allegorie De Vassy is going chasing.. Price has been slashed into 6s best (365) general 5/1

I'm guessing a certain FJ tipster has just put her up also.

Is she more of an any race bet?

Injury to brandy love or she doesn't take to fences that well the grade 1 mares hurdle will always be lurking

she's 7s any race with sky so that is surely the play

Good spot thanks. I couldn't shake the feeling Mullins would keep her over hurdles given her age so missed the boat.

I'd want to see how ADV returns after such a long time on the sidelines with her chipped bone. Has there been a positive update on her Hock injury?
