I imagine he's seen as an E/W play to nothing, especially with 1f less to see out in the Arkle.

Yep, can see that now and agree with FF that there will be less than 8 so makes complete sense. There is some nice EW value about ATM in the Novice chases.

Who do we think they are? I have 9 in my head but maybe I’m being overly optimistic with some

I have 4, possibly 5.

Think Willie will only send two to the race, El Fab & DD. Obviously Jonbon.

Then a couple of horses that may be going to try and grab place money, potentially Haddex & Final Orders, although Haddex could also end up in the Grand Annual as he's only rated 146.

I think they might run Haddex, one because of Jonbon's run the other day, and secondly because of EDG.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me. Will be interesting to see who gets the lead, because Haddex & Jonbon like to get on with things and so does DD.

As it's Saint Roi's only entry I think he'll turn up as well. JP won't mind having two in the race. He can send Banbridge down the Turners route then.

I'd have thought that Ronnie Bartlett might have something to say about that.

As a G1 winner, you'd be surprised if Saint Roi ducked the race.

My age is catching up with me. Thanks Archie, of course Banbridge is not owned by JP.

I know Rare Edition scoped badly but do we think he is unlikely? He is the one I was hoping would nick a place at a decent price. Confirmed as sticking to 2 miles, strongly run would suit and clearly only a proposition at NRNB in case he doesn’t get back to himself quickly enough. I suppose all of the above could equally apply to the county hurdle?

It’s been a long few days. Thought this was the supreme chat. Ignore!

With Haddex out, I've taken the hanging 20/1 NRNB for Final Orders now

Less than 8 runners looking strong now... full book brigade should be out in force

Was thinking similar. Who else do we think will line up? Jonbon, El Fabiolo, Dysart Dynamo, Final Orders, Saint Roi,

Saint Roi could skip it and wait for Aintree. Similar to GDM last year? Especially with Mullins having so many options, and the new JP Aintree love.

I kind of get that one could run below form / fall or whatever but I don't really see a great angle in each way bets even with three places when there's three runners who look well ahead of the rest... Are you actually getting that much value there? Maybe you are, I've not overly thought about this :excitement:

Hollow Games was mentioned in the GE stable tour as targeting this.

It looks like it's going to be less than 8 runners, and the chances are it's 5 or 6 max.
