I was just about to pull the trigger with pp when he was 20/1 but got caught up with something to do with work so the 14’s 16’s left doesn’t excite me too much. Should have went in early doors but couldn’t see past the Run Wild Fred plan in all honesty.

I’m a bit undecided with him too, I thought another crack at the Pertemps would be the plan, but as Spectre says lowering that mark wouldn’t/won’t be easy.

Now it looks like he’s going chasing I’d also want 25/1+ for the BANC but given he’s been hammered in the NHC in the last few days I don’t think we’ll have much luck!

Gordon's staying chasers look like being RWF, The Bosses Oscar, Gars De Sceaux, does the latter become a Kim Muir candidate? Only rated 141 over hurdles so could easily work that into a low chase mark. We all know JP loves a festival handicap winner.

Might have to play a trixie when the KM is priced :glee:

Edit - I know he has 2/3 other potential stayers as well.

Random quoting my own piece but for those that have missed the price, although not cash out, 22/1 boosted the ladbrokes available :encouragement:

No doubt after 10mins it will be gone.

Magic Daze and the Bosses Oscar both declared for their engagements on Wednesday

Yep Robinnia at least provides us with some form of guide- she's an alright mare. Getting the weight, provided she jumps ok, she should be able to put in a fair performance.

Yeh she was in the process of running a big race only for the fall last time out at Galway, IMO looked to have every chance of beating Fan & Gin.
Magic Daze should be too good though - can't see anything outside of these two being involved at the end.

Does Davy being on board TBO for Gord hold any importance in relation to target? (His only ride that day)

Good education ride and he can tell Gordon more than most Jockeys how good he is and which race to target next.

Bleu Berry franked the Streets of Doyen form very nicely today.

I wouldn’t say so really, he likes to give both him and Jack equal opportunities, so would have an impact on a plan going forward. However Davy was stood down today from rides so we will see if he is available on Wednesday

Could anyone see if they can get Ontheropes priced up for the NHC?

I've tried and been refused every time as a "trader decision"

I asked a few hours ago, I got that exact same response when I asked about Jon Snow on the same race a few weeks ago, 365 this is

Could someone request The Bosses Oscar for the BANC too?

I haven't had any luck with that one.

What do we make of 365 refusing to price those two up? It's not usual for them to refuse, and I wonder if there is a change going on behind the scenes.

I generally find it’s just difficult members of staff who don’t want to be bothered doing their job. Betfair is the same you just have to request at different times to deal with someone more helpful.

This is definitely true. I worked for Coral for a long time and some of my colleagues would just tell punters that their requested bet wasn't priced up rather than call trading to get odds.

Completely off topic but having worked on the other side is there anything you can share with regard account restrictions/closures, anything members can do or shouldn’t do to maintain accounts ?

I’ve worked on the other side and they genuinely hate punters who bet singles, especially to a decent stake

We used to get promotions to send to "the best customers" (always picked by the higher ups, always the biggest losing punters).

As has been said, singles are despised so placing a lucky 15/yankee every now and then doesn't hurt.

Liabilities of over 1k are always looked at, they'll turn a blind eye to the accas etc but if you're sat on a single with a liability of over 1k then you're account will be looked at. It doesn't hurt to spread your bets around if it can be helped.

We would regularly be enforced to ban punters who refused to provide a proof of income. In some cases even when this was provided the big brass would still decide that the money to stakes ratio wasn't plausible (coincidentally winning punters a large proportion of the time).

There's not really much I could say that probably isn't already known. If you're placing a big odds bet then try and spread out to keep liabilities from being flagged, stick a few silly bets on that are likely to lose (long term it can be a win to lose as you avoid the restrictions). Don't only back promotions, boosted odds etc and try and mix up your betting.

Everybody is monitored in some form, there is a traffic light system for which all unknown punters are amber. Winning punters are red and obviously the losers are green. If an unknown is placing bets on boxing regularly and either nothing else or smaller stakes on other things then they think that it's a specialist bet. Obviously this forum we all build a book towards Cheltenham so again, throw a couple on other sports as a bit of a sweetener.
