regardless of how weak it may look, he still won by 24 lengths...

Well he wasn't going to win by that much was he until blue lord fell and blue lord had pulled like a train

And today was the first time he actually settled and echoes in rain looked the winner miles out

Patrick was taking a pull turning in

IMO he'll be a even better chaser which is saying something. Just hoping him being pulled out of Punchestown is nothing sinister.

Fabulous performance. Beat some very good horses out of sight.

Paul mentioned stayers after race to Willie, Willie likes chasing but discuss over summer! RTE post race interview

Has there been any mentioned on why Appreciate It has skipped this week? He's an eyecatching absentee given the money on offer.

The skybet 40/1 punchestown and any race chelts flagged up in the other thread is now looking a stonking bet

....Galopin a best price 10-1 for both The Stayers & Festival Novice Chase.

Nice non staying performance from Telmesomethinggirl.............Mares Hurdle here we come !

If he runs in the Stayers I'll eat my shoe

I flipping hope he doesn't - got several points locked down for GDC for the FNC now. Fantastic performance and thrashed the rest of them.

Wouldn't get too carried away with GDC yet, the staying novice hurdlers this year have been inconsistent between themselves beating each other etc. Very sedate pace today and didn't suit plenty of them, quite odd really that it was run how it was given the AB winner would of hated that. I'm not particularly excited by any of them really from what iv'e seen to to date but time will tell.

Quote from Mullins on GDC : "He looked very smart today. Getting up to three miles, he just looked fantastic. When Paul gave him a squeeze going to the third-last he just took off and the race was over coming into the last bend. He's very slick over hurdles and Paul said he could be a Stayers' Hurdle candidate next season. However I like going chasing quickly but we'll have that conversation in the summer once he's finished. I wouldn't mind going chasing with him anyhow."
