They stuck him in a caravan in furthest field away from the stables. Gave him a few months supply of baked beans and a subscription to pornhub.
Given the size of him recently, they must have struggled to get him back :welcoming:
Not seen the race yet but isn't there some rule about finishing 1st or 2nd over a certain trip to get into the National Hunt Chase? Does that 2nd today help? Wheres a brainiac when you want one?

TBO was fine today. He didn't look anywhere near fit and the missed fences wouldn't have helped. He jumped a little right at times, but nothing alarming. He'll definitely want further and it will be interesting to see how Gordon campaigns him once he's fit and in the swing of things.
Interesting Charlie, I actually thought the missed fences ended up helping his cause as I thought his jumping wasn’t great. He really landed flat footed in the early parts and then went on the inside and it looked to me like he was still jumping right into/behind horses. When he got clear daylight he ran down them quite a bit. There were only a couple of jumps where I though he managed them o.k. He tended to make a couple of mistakes over hurdles and I don’t think jumped them very fluently and I think you’ll see that even more now he’s over a fence and with what I saw today. I think he’ll defo be a better hurdler then fences. I’m not crabbing the bets as I backed him with cash out too for the national hunt chase, Iv cashed 2 but kept one and I’ll probably be cashing that one tomorrow as well.
If TBO is not the guy (hypothetically)....
Where do we expect RWF to pop up if the target is NHC? Cheltenham in Oct? Thanks
Getting a run around the chase course at Cheltenham is +++++ for any potential Gordon NHC candidate, whoever ‘the one’ is will almost certainly run in one of the staying novice chases at either the October or November meetings
Fancy Foundations it is then. Gordon has already said he's going Cheltenham in October (I wouldn't fancy him for the NHC atm though)
Gordon’s past NHC winners conform to ridiculously strong trends that are almost too good to be true. Run wild fred ticks pretty much every box, I can see the appeal for TBO and have placed a wager on him too, but personally I’ll be bitterly disappointed if RWF is not the one.
Don’t have much of an opinion on him to be honest. Gordon’s past NHC winners conform to ridiculously strong trends that are almost too good to be true.
