2022 Grand National

Delighted Eclair gets a run! If he handles the fences I think he’s got a huge chance! We know he stays and he’s a nice age, lovely low weight too!

What's the cut off for reserves being able to replace NRs? Is it the day before like Chelts?

Should probably be fav. 2nd to Scottish National winner and 3rd to Welsh National winner this season. Looks thrown in on that form. Fences not what they used to be. Any more rain will help as well.

I didn't fully understand what he was saying on the Off The Fence podcast, but Geraghty seemed to be saying the weights aren't totally accurate and towards the top of the market they'd actually be carrying around 12 stone. Said he felt it a big negative for all the top weights

Might be wrong but my understanding is that the jockeys can post upto 3lb over their declared weight. The jockeys normally usually saunas to keep the weight down at tracks. Since covid hit the saunas have been shut so they now have an allowance of 6lb for this reason. It’s something like that I believe

….blue skies, very bright and sunny here in Liverpool at the moment.

This has a massive chance in my opinion. Nice price too!

Aye, he's a real interesting contender. Very unfashionable in the trainer, owner and jockey stakes compared to a lot though so imagine his price will hold. Nice e/w play with all the extra places on offer isn't he.

Even gone with a repeat forecast of last time with Fiddlerontheroof :barbershop_quartet_member:

Fiddlerontheroof

Analysing the last 8 GN's got me down to 9 horses, and taking out the 4 carrying over 11st (just to reduce numbers) got me to the above 3 plus Cloth Cap and Good Boy Bobby

The 4 over 11st were Any Second Now, Run Wild Fred, Lostintranslation and Delta Work. Covered the additional selections using the Bet365 ew offer. Now I'll wait for the trends to be bucked :onthego:
