Skelton is going to be absolutely raging at the Captain there. Was over a mile out - glad that Nico didn't s*** the bed.
 
Lovely performance from Shishkin - this fella could definitely get further too, everything about his run style screams 2 and a half.

Such a shame we never got the battle with Energenume but perhaps in time.

Two outstanding favourites to kick things off- well done those who had nice value tickets!
 
I wonder if Eldorado Allen will go for some of the 2m5f Chelt handicaps next season? Seemed to want further.
Two impressive short prices favs. It can't last.
 
sounds like captain guinness race was lost in the parade ring. don't think rachel wanted to be taking on allmankind at the 2nd fence. jumped incredible though, some of them jumps down the back jesus.

Very similar to Footpad's Arkle that. For all i suspect Shishkin's better. Franco De Port a big disappointment.
 
Shishkin won that 3 seconds quicker than Appreciate It. Over fences. Neither off the bridle.

These horses are probably superstars but time’s suggest the going description is correct; slightly better than soft, not quite GS.
 
Shishkin could've stopped for a fag & pint and still won that, some machine he is!
 
Easy easy easy, great day so far for the long term punts, Envoi on Thursday is huge
 
....phew, Shishkin takes a lot of pressure off & keeps so many multiples alive.
