2016 Ryanair

Looks that way Rowebot.

Could easily be another case of a horse landing in a race because they have no other representative rather than this being the horses best opportunity of success....

I think this shows that they were probably planning on running Vautour in this race until Saturday's mishap at Cheltenham

Dicky

Champagne West

I was particularly frustrated by the shuddering error that put paid to Champagne West’s chances on Saturday as I’d been really pleased with him right up to that point.

The annoying thing was that all the conditions were in his favour and I was convinced he’d have gone very close.

We jumped a couple more fences after the error, but once you’ve made a mistake like that on ground as testing, it was only fair to call it a day.

As for where next? Well, the horse seems to have come out of the race fine and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a relatively quick return to the races in the next few weeks ahead of the Festival.

As to whether he goes down the handicap route or the Ryanair, we’ll know more after his next start.

Lads any idea would vroom vroom mag go for the Ryanair 14/1 pps only 5/1 in boylesports

Boyles are non runner no bet, hence the reduced price - paddy power isn't and presumably thinks it's less likely than some that it will run here.

Yes - PP best price on oddschecker at 14s but with their links to Ruby I would say that means she doesnt run here. Betbright are 12s.

5/1 by paddypowers now good thing I lumped on at 14s

I found her in a few accas from way back today ...had forgot I did them.

Probably a combo of Djakadams fall and Thistlecrack scaring them off.

Now that we know Ruby rides her in this what is left for World Hurdle

Don't forget Cole harden for the world hurdle loves cheltenham and going pretty fresh 8/1 with some bookmakers and Gavin Sheehan a top class jock

He is a cracking ew price in a race with a long history of multiple winners.

This race could break up looking at the dual entries, Felix Yonger looking tempting at 12' s nrnb, most of those above him unlikely to run

Agreed, which for me is why Al Ferof is currently value as this is his only possible engagement...

On willies interview earlier mick fitz asked him about Vroum Vroum Mag in the ryan air and why all the support has come for her in the market for this race, he said it was all down to the article in the racing post but wouldn't confirm what was her target however i got the feeling from willie that she does go to the ryan air and they are leaving the world hurdle alown with the rich ricci pair as they respect Thistlecrack crack too much

PP have halved Road To Riches price to 4/1 now and I think this is where hes going to end up and that will put out another nail in the coffin to my ante post bets having taken 20/1 for Gold Cup as back up to Vautou.

VVM has an entry in the Ascot Chase.

Had a look at him again. i had it in my head he didnt like Cheltenham but his form there is OK. 2nd to Simonsig in the Neptune and 4th In Ryanair to Taquin de Seuil. Maybe that doesnt scream Ryanair winner but he is rated 6lbs better now than when last at the festival. His form since start of last season is 2111-1311.
