2016 Queen Mother Champion Chase

Ive backed un de Sceaux before he went odds on and also layed sprinter sacre at 9/2 and at 5/2 in the betting without market, they are the front two for me and if sire de grugy runs as well as he has in the last 3 runs then there's your tricast, dodging bullets wont be able to handle the pace of this queen mother being his first run back and the rest of the field just isn't up to their class unless traffic fluide is training on and can improve past his stable mate

Do you not think SDG has had a hard enough season though gjt, he's been asked to fight hard in 3 races, I've been putting a bit on Special Tiara, with and without UDS, he would have beaten SDG, in my view, in the Tingle creek with a clear run, probably by more than Sprinter managed to, so that form line suggests to me that he will be hard to keep out of the places, especially given that he will be a fresh horse
 
I see Traffic Fluide has been ruled out for the season. Seemed to be fancied enough after his run behind UDS.

Had him in some without UDS bets - at least he only showed his hand after NRNB.

Any thoughts on how the race will be run ? Will UDS get it his own way in front ?
 
What can go with him, DB may be harrying him for a while but it's a big ask to lay up with UDS after a problem build up
 
Both UDS and Special Tiara only really know how to run from the front... If Special Tiara can jump a bit better than UDS and put some pressure on him be interesting to see what happens.

Interesting A Horsie ..I wonder if something upsides would help or hinder UDS when jumping.

A nice ride for Nico in the Champion Chase :devilish:
 
Gods Own could never win on that ground but if it comes up good at Cheltenham and he goes for the champion chase he could easily run a big race at massive odds....
 
I wonder if they'd be tempted to go for the Ryanair with JH. It'll be interesting to see what NH says.

Definitely a better idea than chasing UDS around at 100mph in the CC, which would probably end with him ploughing through one too many, and eating the deck.
 
I'll be having a decent bet on him wherever he turns up. His jumping isn't great but it's not as bad as people are making out imo.

He must the best looking horses in training.
 
He could win the champion chase.

It has been written in the stars since Lydia un-jinxed him.
 
NH said post race that he would look to go for the ryan air now with josses hill, hence the odds being slashed from 33's into 14's, would still have to find something with al ferof and Vroum Vroum mag if she goes there too with the weight allowance
 
Found one bet with JH at 33s ew without UDS in my collection ..

I like this horse a lot. Everyone loves a comeback story.
 
this is still a two horse race for me with Un De Sceaux and sprinter sacre, I think the race is well on for 3rd but I see these two pulling a few lengths away from the field

These are the big two.

Could be tactical. Sprinter isnt what he was but I would consider backing him again if Bazza rides. Nico is a nice lad but it is madness that Henderson would put him up ahead of the best two mile chase jocky ever.
 
Apparently Felix Younger is heading for this race if he goes to the Fest.
