Thanks Lester. As you advised, I've taken the 25/1 nrnb.

Could yet be kept to novice company at Cheltenham

Mark Bradstock's crack novice chaser was an emphatic winner of the Grade Two Denman Chase at Newbury when last sighted, a perfect trial for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup on March 13, but he remains as short as 3/1 for the RSA Chase on March 11.

Bradstock's wife and assistant, Sara, said: "We're going hold on right to the last moment to ensure we make the right decision.

"That way, we'll be more the wiser as to what the ground is going to be like and who will be running.

"We're not against running in the Gold Cup - but we'll sit down in the next week or so and hopefully make the right choice.

"I actually think he would win the RSA with all things level and he worked very well on Tuesday morning."

That to me suggests Coneygree is more likely to go RSA as long as conditions suit.

Do we think 3/1 NRNB in the RSA is value?

I think the top end of the market in the RSA is wrong based on the size of the field. Looks at the Gold Cup for example and with a smaller field.

I agree its not a fabulous price, but if he ran in the RSA i agree with them I think he'd win. Therefore can you see him ever being longer than 3/1 LR?

The price won't be much different for a while because the camp are not making a decision until last minute. By then more bookies should be NRNB. 3/1 is his shortest price right now.

If DP don't run I can see him going off around 5/2 with KP is nearest challenger.

Very Wood might be running here according to latest reports. I predict the 18/1 NRNB with bet365 will not last.

Boyles are 20/1 were 40s :sorrow:

Barry Geraghty has been booked for The Young Master.

Ruby - the 2nd horse he would like to ride but cant

His second selection is in the RSA chase as he thinks Martin Bradstick's Coneygree could be a tempting change if he got the chance. Walsh thinks the horse might be a late fancy for the Gold Cup but would prefer a ride in the RSA,

'Don Poli could run in the RSA but so too could Coneygree if connections decide not to go down the Gold Cup route with what looks like England’s best staying novice chaser. The English handicap certainly seems to think so and rates him 15lb better than Denman who I rode to win the RSA Chase by 10 lengths in 2007. If he’s 15lb better than Denman on ratings – I’d want to be on Coneygree in the RSA.'

If they all turn up in this it could be the race of the Festival, can't find any doubtful stayers in the top 6 in the betting and formlines are terrific, should be a cracker. I've got Southfield Theatre ew and KP in some acca's but DP and Coneygree could be different gravy.

I asked Sam Twiston on the RP chat about Southfield Theatre. He said he hasn't had his ground all year but will get it at Cheltenham and he thinks he has a huge chance.

Well I hope Sam is right. Last years' run in the Pertemps off topweight was a great effort, I backed Fingal Bay and still think it was very fortunate. I know Daryl Jacob couldn't have been more cheesed of when they announced the photo.

Haha yes, I backed FB. Looked like he had it when they passed the post in real time but it was incredible how close it was.

Got a feeling the price will drift if DP and Coneygree are confirmed runners so I've bet with 365 for BOG.
