Aldie I am holding fire until NRNB and hopefully 5 places or some other MBS. The Supreme is the best race of the year to bet in.

Jollyallan is on my list.
McKinley too but only with NRNB.

Josses hill was my festival starter last year, followed it all the way to the festival.

Been harder to find a group of each way candidates to bear in mind, especially with the strength of L'ami serge and douvan, will hopefully get us some good prices with them being so short. Jollyallan is a good priced horse, better ground to suit??

AP said yesterday that they were beaten by the ground so probably yes. AV is the fly in the ointment though.

I would have thought it is 3 and maybe 4 weeks to we get NRNB.

Will Shaneshill pick up his game?? The wylie horses have been very timid so far this season, would you agree??

Wylies horses dont seem to have had the clearest of runs but wouldnt be writing them off.

Not sure what Shaneshill trip will be but expect him to come good in the Spring.

Hard to knock a 33-1 shot but maybe needs further ? Hard to work Gigginstown horses out.

Identity Thief created a good impression when making a winning debut over jumps in the At The Races Maiden Hurdle at Leopardstown.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained four-year-old, owned by Gigginstown House Stud, followed up his bumper success at Fairyhouse with a stylish display under Bryan Cooper.

Leading before the final flight, Identity Thief (7-4) shrugged off the attentions of the 6-4 favourite Snow Falcon to score by half-a-length. The pair pulled nicely clear of Okotoks in third.

"I'm delighted. He jumped well," said de Bromhead. "Bryan thought maybe a faster pace would suit him and we might drop him back and try the Deloitte here in February. We'll see how he goes after that.

"He was impressive in his bumper and kept the dream alive here today. He's a really nice young horse to have.

"The ground was pretty nice when he won his bumper and I'd say he pretty adaptable.

"Bryan said he didn't really want him winging the second last and getting there too soon so when he fluffed it he got a nice lead into the straight."

Identity Thief was quoted at by BetVictor at 25-1 first show for both the Neptune and Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival.

Alvisio Ville vs Douvan in supreme, what would people be backing? to me, Alvisio Ville looks of similar mould to Vautour. has the makings of a stayer but has a top cruising speed which is needed to win a supreme. There has been a lot of talk about Douvan, mainly from Ruby Walsh which is why I think he's been backed so heavily. He's not going to talk about AV much because he wont be riding him.

If alvisio ville strolls the deliotte could this see Douvan rerouted to the Neptune? Maybe abit premature as we've only seen AV once so far, But Douvans form doesn't impress me either

FWIW I think he could be a Supreme horse - can hardly run four in the Neptune. I am hoping Outlander ends up over three miles too.
