2015 Neptune Novice Hurdle

Conversely, he's one of Jim McGraths bets of the week!

Must try and find that Ascot race ...didnt look ungenuine in his hurdle races. Id be more worried about the jumping.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Tell us More with less than a week to go?

Not working well after defeat to McKinley (remember faugheen didn’t work well until he had his feed changed). Mullins seemed very coy on the reasoning behind this defeat, like he knew what was up at a time when others also under performed.

Now shortening on betfair for first time in a while for this race despite Cooper originally saying he rides Outlander. Also, Ricci says he thinks he goes Neptune and says he is one he would like to own out of willies crop/ David Casey also says he is very, very good!

Still think he’s a big player in a weak looking race and IF Douvan is the beast everybody seems to think he is, surely two darts at the Neptune would be a better option leaving McKinley for the Supreme?

welcome on board.

utterly confused is where I am on the Gigginstown horses.

add in the Mullins factor and becomes a total head wreck.

Easy to say, but If I was O'Leary I'd be looking elsewhere for Trainers for future stock. As gifted as Mullins is, it's a case of too much ammunition in one yard and is O'Leary always getting the best for his horses by them being there. All his other trainers are cool with them going head to head so Willie should just point them at their most natural targets and get on with it rather than ducking and diving to avoid taking on Ricci's or whoever.
There's lots of good trainers in Ireland and I think Elliott in particular is going to reach the end of next week with his reputation further enhanced as a big race target man.

Meade has done well with the Gigginstown horses he was given.

His yard seems to have held its form right through January and February as well.

The old back Meade to Christmas and Mullins after it rule might have to be scrapped.

Couldn't agree more, Still think he has a chance in the Neptune if he goes there as its wide open. Mullins said recently Neptune would be his likely destination but owners may decide supreme. Don't think he wins supreme if he goes for it but has a chance in Neptune

Ive said all along that Tell Us More will go for Neptune and I see no reason to change my mind.Apparently the horse is working well again.Mullins has always favoured Neptune for this horse, a change of tactics will be used with the horse sitting in behind rather than front running, got racing too early last time and had nothing left at finish, yard was stunned it got beat.A fantastic jumper of a hurdle and I can see just as above quote Mckinley going Supreme with Tell Us More and Outlander going Neptune and Cooper on Tell Us More contrary to commiting to Outlander. He will definitely pick Tell Us More over Outlander.

I can't understand why Giggy don't have horses this side of the Irish sea as well, give them a clearer picture of where they stand, shouldn't cost the O'Learys too much to get over to watch them run from time to time

roose 88 - I agree, it's a strange scenario where we find Mullins has had a consistent view and said neptune all along as have the owners! It's only jockeys and the presence of Outlander that is throwing it all off! Tell us more is surely better than Outlander.

I found it really interesting that Ricci mentioned he would like him and said he thinks Neptune, almost suggesting he is back to his very best at home..

It wasnt my twitter post but OV on 23 Feb

Lets hope so, he is my biggest ante post punt after watching him recover from an error in a point to point to battle back and win. He underperformed like a lot of Mullins horses around Christmas, Not giving him another run hasn't help matters but I'm hopeful he will go Neptune and cooper will be on board.

Absolutely disgusted by this if it does happen. Just a blatant disregard for punters money, switching a horse after confirming his target!!!

Backed Vyta du Roc for the AB as soon as Hendo confirmed him for the race and took the larger price so not NRNB and then this.

Totally agree Lessey, you know Mullins get stick for leaving options open till last min but he's up front about it whereas Henderson dosent giv a sh.. about punters....remember Binocular..out of champion hurdle then comes back at last min to win it...

Its ridiculous as well. I remember in interviews Hendo said he'd been hitting flat spots in his races so the step up to 3miles would help. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Maybe Barry needed a ride in the Neptune...

I backed Tell Us More and had written him off as a non-runner but will still be very surprised if he goes close. Had the run of the race last time and was beaten fair and square by a horse who isn't top class. Looks a pretty weak individual and I can see him turning out to be another Make Your Mark.

McCoy on Parlour Games.

Davy Condon says that Bryan Cooper thinks Tell us More goes to the Supreme. Aghhhh!
