And this re

King Rasko Grey

“He was third to what I think are the two best novice hurdlers in Ireland at the Dublin Racing Festival (Talk The Talk and Ballyfad). I think he will come on for it and is right in the mix. I think he has enough speed for the Supreme, but with his run the other day you might be thinking Turners.”
I don't know why you would even be considering the Supreme against a horse who beat him fair and square. He travelled like the best horse in that novice race, but hadn't got the gear to put the race to bed. As I said before at Limerick he looked like he was going to win half the track, but didn't. At the minimum he lacks a gear. Target should be cut and dried. Even for this outfit amazed it is even being debated. He can't win a Supreme, but he might be able to win a Turners. Not rocket science. Price for days suggests he isn't going near a Supreme.

Guessing Gigginstown have made the decision to bring Jalon Doudairies over by looks of it. I know there was some talk of keeping him in Ireland after his last run.

Worth mentioning he drifted badly on the day and then mullins said he wasn't fit, even so he was just touched off. Probably surprised how long he stayed in the race.

Didn't Willie say he was undercooked at DRF and expects improvement. Not saying he has a chance in the Supreme but just pointing to why he might run in it. Owners also have Free Spirit and Casey mentioned in a preview owners want to split them up with Rasko goin Supreme. Could be a load of balls tho 👍

He was quite keen that day too. Would be much better suited by a stronger pace (which he'll get in either race as the DRF was a real dawdle). I could see him being quite effective over a strongly run 2m with a stiff finish.

This is very interesting, where/when was this said?

I had to look up Free Spirit. So some people on here actually believe you would swap out an 8/1 shot for a 66/1 no hoper?

I also don't buy buy the idea that Mullins sends horses into Grade 1's half baked. They can drift for many reasons, and some actually win.

I've just googled it and JP is 75 on Champion Hurdle day.

.....perhaps a reason that Mighty Park might run in a Supreme

Thats fair enough. But there’s enough reasons that have been put forward as to why some might think he may run in the Supreme.
