The owner has said they're aiming her towards the champion hurdle.

The trainer has said they're looking at a champion hurdle campaign.

They are NOT saying that about Stormy Island.

I'm not being clever, that's in plain text in the media

Its common sense that's where you'd aim her though. Until she's beat she's a CH horse.

All 2- 21/2M hurdlers rated above 150 will start out looking at a champion hurdle campaign

Common sense because she's a much better horse than Stormy Island too?

Its not worth a discussion until laurina actually runs in a credible race. Hopefully that's pre chelt.

I hope she goes straight there without a run

Despite my belief in her and what I wrote earlier in the thread, I still think it's a year too early for her. I'd go the Annie Power route minus the Stayers' run. So mares' then CH, but what do I know :highly_amused:

Stormy Ireland wins on the bit. Very impressive but like has been said didn't really beat much but you can only win head in chest.

Stormy Ireland is a very good horse. A level above that lot today. Had her as my main bet and put her up for the Triumph last season, but she didn't have the best prep, and on heavy to lead from the front in a race like that was a big ask, but she's worthy of the plaudits she gets for today and will likely win at a higher level than the one today too.

I can see Scooby's first little girl being called Laurina

Already has a little Presenting Percy knocking about :devilish:

To be fair, on price no one has a disagreement do they?

Anyone fancy vision des flow for this race. He'l probably be staying over hurdles and he won't be getting 3 miles so will this be where he'l end up. I know its already looking like a hot champion hurdle but at 40/1, any chance?

I'd probably look at him on the exchanges in hope of 3 figures.

No Supasundae in the Morgiana today.

Disappointing - be surprised if samcro runs now.
It's called Good ground for a reason:disgust:

Real shame re Supasundae. Fancied him to go close today.

If I were Elliot, I would be very keen to see what Samcro can do on typical Festival ground over 2m against some decent yardsticks. Even if he's not quite 100% today, they will surely learn a bit more about his CH credentials than running on really soft ground.

Who was it who said good horses should go on any ground?

Very disappointed if pulled out on good, good to firm yes that's fair enough but good should be fine.

I'd be astounded if Samcro runs now. Big shame for the race.
