Cheltenham 2019 Ante-Post bets

Same with the novices the ammount of times Nichols buys a limited horse that finished infront of one that mullins has bought and turns out to be a top notcher is scary too. Of the top of my head

Black river - vautour
Mr mix - min ......

Indeed and his Cheltenham record is starting to reflect that in recent years where he now is lucky to pick up a handicap each year!

Will be interesting to see how he gets on with MY WAY the form is there, and there's alot of it. the McNeil family have paid €475, 000 after purchasing DJINGLE last year. Hopefully they'll get there money's worth.

I would put my neck on the line and say My Way will have more of an impact than Danny Kirwan over hurdles this season. My Way has a nice piece of form behind Whetstone and he’ll be very experienced for a novice.

I wouldn't disagree with that. I'd love to know what mark he would get. Hurdes/ fences over here.

No triumph thread but the form of ADJALI is red hot. Add to that the connections of hendo munir and suede he's going to be short when he wins on debut over here.

Who’s your preference with scoob ADJALI or NEVER ADAPT or can you see them going different races ? I thought I saw them both mentioned in the triumph section

Added Elwood 'any race' today boosted to 27.54 with WH.

A half brother to Delta Work, Gigginstown brought the horse this month from the same connections (Emmanuel Clayeux) as Delta Work came from.

Has had 2 NH Flat races both over 1m 4f, but pedigree (by Martaline) suggests these were going to be too short and of course they were, as he was never nearer both times. He then had his first start over hurdles, which was a complete schooling session in public, the horse looked as though he'd never seen a hurdle before and was held way back in the small field. He got off the mark in his final start in France, winning impressively, from start to finish, staying on really strongly at the end, clearly something that Gigginstown/Elliott liked the look of.

Now, it would be foolish to think he will be as successful for them as Delta Work has worked out, and as with a lot of the French imports that come over, we don't know their full abilities until we see them on a course over here, but he is one I am happy to take a stab at in the hope they go down the handicap route at the festival with him, and lightning strikes twice!

A friend got this one priced up by WH for me, also got him to ask Betfair as well, given their links with the Elliott yard and they told him it was not one they were adding at this moment

Both same race would be the plan. In light of the form keep being franked with the French season in full swing now , I'd be strong in the adjali camp. But id be wanting to be on never adapt too. And I'd be keeping a close eye on FARID. FENTA DES OBEAUX. And LAMARCKISE. For entries later in the season. anything else can likey win and pass me by. My personal preferance is, i'd always be on what I believe to be the best French hurdlers/ aqps rather than the horses that come of the flat

Where did he get a mention Scooby, and what was said? I was starting to get worried.

Carefully Selected; He’s obviously a point-to-point winner and he’s a fine bug staying horse, who could get any trip. He surprised us in his bumpers because he’s not the most flamboyant at home so we can’t wait to go jumping with him. He ran a blinder at both Cheltenham and Punchestown last season and he was always going to be a better jumper than he was a bumper horse.
HE’S GOT A HUGE SEASON AHEAD OF HIM.

Tornado Flyer; He improved hugely from his debut to finish third in the Champion Bumper and then he improved again to win at the Punchestown festival. He’s a fine big strong horse and he should have a good year over hurdles.

Blackbow: He was a big lean individual last year but he looks a stronger horse this year. He’s got a lot of natural ability, he’s a great jumper and he was one of many very good bumper horses we had last season.

Like Carefully Selected and Tornado Flyer, his connections are entitled to look forward to the year ahead. The three all look Ballymore or Albert Bartlett type horses. Although, I didn’t think Champagne Fever would be a Supreme Novices’ Hurdle horse but he won it, so who knows?

Two weeks ago I mentioned the horses I am lucky enough to ride in the mornings and talked about the lovable Politologue, well today I thought I would touch on the second of my rides, a chestnut four-year-old called My Way.

Bought from France in the spring, I got to know him as soon as he came off the lorry and rode him for a month of steady work before he was turned out in the field for his summer holiday. I was immediately taken by him, his character, presence and unflappable nature.

Every rider lucky enough to sit on a horse that just suits them perfectly in whatever discipline will know exactly what I mean and My Way is just that for me. For whatever reason we get on well and I love the hour that I am on his back every morning.

Rarely is a young horse so focused on his work and not interested in anything else that goes on, My Way just does exactly what is required of him every day. He is not far off a run now and I am looking forward to everyone seeing him race.

Think i read it on Oddschecker . Nicky hendersons - Haul away. maybe aiming for the Pertemps final ,
entered in the Qualifier at chelt. saturday.

I was told that Nicholls likes Getaway Trump Mayo but not Cheltenham class
