Supreme Novices 2018

Needs to go up in trip.

33/1 NRNB with PP Ballymore .... seems generous from PP? Can't imagine they'd do up too far?

I might have some on that though

Sharjah improved for better ground which they thought he would being by Doctor Dino so you would expect further improvement given the usual Cheltenham conditions.

Have connections mentioned anything about his ground preference. Both wins being on heavy was a slight negative but that from the breeding is a positive... not an area I'm an expert on by any stretch

Yes an interview I heard with Patrick Mullins they thought he would be better on better ground prior to his run at Christmas.

Lad of Luck having his first run over fences tomorrow... somebody on here was quite interested on him from memory?

Nice price tomorrow if he's good?

I had a couple of bets on horses who not even run yesterday at Hills. Harrie and Francin 33/1 for this race.

:)who would your money be on?

Evidence on the track i'd have to side with Mengli, although i wouldn't be sure of him performing at cheltenham. In regards to Getabird, he must be showing something at home that pleases mullins. A no bet race for me.

Beyond the law looked impressive over 2m 2f yesterday beating Draconien, Which gave Getabirds form a boost albeit their race was 2m 4f on heavy.

The Moscow flyer was the race Mullins sent a supreme hope for, im just thinking maybe now that the Deloitte has become a shorter distance that could well be it. Hes mentioned Sharjah for the Deloitte.

Harrie not one of mine but an SHR club horse. The bumper has been the target since the autumn. I'd say if he doesn't win or go very close on debut he'll likely miss Cheltenham altogether but no harm done if NRNB.

The ones that I'm involved with that may get to the festivals are:
Bunk Off Early
Kemboy
Cadmium
Shanning
Eileen O

Getabird Vs Mengli Khan in the moscow flyer

Well well certainly makes PP/BFSB's 6/1 on Mengli earlier in the week look a bit crazy. I assumed PP knew that he was highly unlikely to run and backed Getabird with Skybet accordingly. A bit annoyed with myself as should have just backed Mengli @6/1 for smaller stakes and guaranteed a profit by laying off whoever ended up running through the exchange. Skybet have opened up essentially with their original AP prices so looks like they called this spot on, will be interesting to see what PP do. Anyway good lesson learned. Just hope to lay my Getabird stake back without much harm done, at least Getabird is running.
