Ballymore (Previously Neptune) Novice Hurdle 2018

Momella of dan skelton also worth a mention after his 2 novice wins, beating a 137 rated listed winner in the process
 
I thought Blairs cove looks interesting for this race on paper . D. skelton , entered friday at chelt. anybody know more ?
 
I'm interested in Palmers Hill in that Novice face at Cheltenham on Friday. He was third behind Flemenshill (most expensive PtP horse ever and sadly no longer with us) before hacking up in his next start and was purchased for £310K himself by JP. He is trained by Jonjo and he is not that well known for having his horses firing early season but Palmers Hill won on debut in a nice manner and you'd have to expect some improvement given that was a slowly run 2m race and this trip will be more like his distance.

I agree I was impressed by Palmers Hill. Won very well indeed.
 
very impressed with WM performance Friday. Im expecting him to show up at the trials meeting in November at Cheltenham. I've had a nibble @33s on him for the Neptune & Albert Bartlett at the fez. Im more interested in Samcro for the Supreme.

Wouldn't have the profile of a neptune winner to be honest having been beaten already and having a mark of around 130. If for what ever reason you do fancy him, if you added him on the exchanges you'd get a 3 figure price for this race before friday

I like palmers hill he travelled really well, my only worry would be whos my jockey was off the bridle along way out and he diddnt manage to put any distance between them, our branco was also far too close to them at the finish, to think they're graded horses, obviously his first start though and I'm sure there's plenty to come.
 
Thanks for that Scooby , Probably watch him friday before i thought of having a bet, noticed he's entered in a couple of races.

Not one for me at this stage but white moon is 16s any race with sportsbook which would workout a better price than singles on the 2 races. And gives you the cover of handicaps.

Jamie Codd was absolutely purring over Samcro on the FFP this week.
 
I know he's aimed at the Royal Bond next according to Gordon Elliott, but surely they'll try him up in trip as well before the festival.

Given his connections interests in having 2m 4f+ chasers as a rule, the Neptune looks primed for him, we know he stays as won his PTP, but also, as mentioned a lot, has a blistering turn of foot and pace so the Supreme isn't out of the question.

I honestly don't think we will know any different even after his next couple of runs, unless we get word from trainer/owner, this could be one of them long drawn out 'race target' sagas that we are used to with Ricci/Mullins, due to the horses own ability.
 
The uncertainty regarding target had just absolutely hammered home to me the beauty of the any race market. 12s for any race will be at least 4 times his SP?

I still think he'd be suited to the ballymore because he can cruise through and then quicken. I am in no doubt he'd be the one to beat in either though.
 
Don't suppose we know what the current best price is for Samcro 'any race' ?

Faugheen went off 7/4 in the Neptune, I'm thinking it'll be something similar (certainly no bigger) for Samcro, providing he gets there in one piece.
