Are there any horses that aren't.......Eddie O'Leary says Place De La Nation 'probably' goes chasing
Only mentioning it because i have seen her mentioned for the Mares Hurdle. Are there any horses that aren't.......![]()
Ah shit. What's with the obsession of sending horses chasing? She potentially hasn't reached the limit of her ability yet over hurdles and has already won a grade 1. What do they hope to achieve by going chasing that she can't do over hurdles?Eddie O'Leary says Place De La Nation 'probably' goes chasing
Agree. I'm getting bored of it now.Ah shit. What's with the obsession of sending horses chasing? She potentially hasn't reached the limit of her ability yet over hurdles and has already won a grade 1. What do they hope to achieve by going chasing that she can't do over hurdles?
Is this the pocket talking? Unsure how it can be boring?!Agree. I'm getting bored of it now.
Yeah I agree, I especially agree with Mares. There are loads they can go for over hurdles with allowances and in their own divisions.Ah shit. What's with the obsession of sending horses chasing? No. Very small pockets. Don't fancy her for anything, just bored of everything going chasing. Is this the pocket talking? Unsure how it can be boring?!
For me it is the disregard for hurdling. Almost every horse has to be a chaser and tried chasing at some point despite what many achieve over hurdles. Many trainers seem to treat hurdling as a second rate product compared to chasing. Whether it is the continuous hunt for the next Gold Cup horse, I don't know. Maybe it is a by-product of more horses coming from P2P field and breeding? Taking Place De La Nation as the example, she won a grade 1 hurdle on last start beating Jade De Grugy and Wodhooh despite being a novice. Would she be able to achieve better than that over fences? I highly doubt it.Is this the pocket talking? Unsure how it can be boring?!
The champion hurdle is becoming boring now for meIs this the pocket talking? Unsure how it can be boring?!
Easy money for Lossy in a 5 horse raceYeah, we all know that owners are only in it for the money.

Not to de-rail the chasers thread but am i the only one that thinks Mydaddypaddy has huge potential for loads of improvement?Easy money for Lossy in a 5 horse race
Agree. Have watched Supreme back several times and can see why they are going CH route. He's a super traveller as you say and spends little time in the air. He was only 5 in May this year so he was definitely punching above his weight in March. Bags of improvement hopefully. Not to de-rail the chasers thread but am i the only one that thinks Mydaddypaddy has huge potential for loads of improvement?
I am invested in both so not too concerned but he could and i expect to improve an absolute ton this season. He has loads going for him. Lightly raced, young, loads of finishing speed, high cruising speed and an uncanny knack of meeting his hurdles on a near perfect stride.
Never realised the Champion Chase was worth that muchYeah, we all know that owners are only in it for the money.
