When he's available yes. Reckon the horse had a wee bit to do with it as well.

was watching on my phone and saw him about 50 lengths clear of the field and thought , this must be the plan, then wilted up the straight nothing left, didn't have a good enough look at the horse, just thought it was jockey error

I’ve cashed
But it looked like he went too quick early on especially for his first run of season
Relative Time of the 4-38 race would point towards him going too quick early also.
Jumped ok aside one where he took an extra step.

Skelton 'blown away ' by performance of Sinnatra. He thought the soft ground and weight would be too much. Will try to keep him and Kabral apart over course of season.

Smart performance from Sinnatra giving all that weight. Couldn't have jumped better and did it easily.

Into 14/1 for Arkle !!
Arkle worthy Lobos? I'm at work. Kicking myself a little now for not having him onside. I had him as a Be Aware type. Still could be yet and there is every chance he could bump into Old Park Star and Sober Glory at some point. I thought Pourqois Pas Papa was decent so either Sinnatra is very good or PPP is another victim of 2022+ Nicholls. We should find out next time with Sinnatra. 14s though! Not for me with the competition in that division. Was he quick?

He was very quick and efficient over the fences and he looks very much like a 2m Chaser. Any thoughts of the Grand Annual or Jack Richards are out of the window in my opinion. He was that good.

Just seen it. It looked impressive to the eye. Loved the long look around Skelton gave to STD. Have to say though. The Nicholls horse looked gash. Find out more next time

The one in 3rd will be winning a race in the near future

Just like the sideways glance Harry gave STD as he glided passed Tutti Quanti on Captain Teague...........

As impressive as he was, We've been there before haven't we with the early Skelton Arkle horses and each one has blown out. 14's is pretty dire stuff from the bookies. A sign of things to come ??

Exactly what I thought when I read your original post. What price Old Park Star if he comes out and wins easily (as he should first time out) 6/4?

Makes the 3/1 look huge

Ridiculous really though

…..OPS;

‘He couldn’t have done any better for us last season and remained unbeaten in four starts for us which culminated in his victory in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. At the moment we are thinking of going novice chasing and hoping that we will be back at Cheltenham next spring for the Arkle. He has loads of scope and is clearly a very exciting project.’

Sinnatra won off a mark of 141 by 7.5 lengths on the bridle. Will have to get an OR / RPR close to the 150s for this which historically would give him a pretty fair chance of hitting the frame in an Arkle. For reference L'eau Du Sud won a handicap off a mark of 138 by 10 lengths and was raised to a mark of 148 and given an RPR of 145 before finishing a 1.5 length 4th to Jango Baie 2 years ago .

Here are the chasing debut RPRs for the first 2 home in the Arkle in the last 9 years (mares adjusted for 7lb allowance):

Kargese (141)
Kopek Des Bordes (156)
Jango Baie (157)
Only By Night (146)
Gaelic Warrior (158)
Found A Fifty (144)
El Fabiolo (163)
Jonbon (157)
Edwardstone (142)
Gabynako (142)
Shishkin (160)
Eldorado Allen (146)
Put The Kettle On (122)
Fakir Doudairies (146)
Duc Des Genievres (149)
Us And Them (130)
Footpad (155)
Brain Power (162)

These are the horses that have had a chasing debut RPR of greater than 150 that have run in the Arkle in the last 9 years:

1st : Jango Baie (157), Gaelic Warrior (158), El Fabiolo (163), Shishkin (160), Footpad (155)
2nd : Kopek Des Bordes (156), Joinbon (157), Brain Power (162)

Not really one for stats but that is interesting. See what pitches up against him next time

Can see all the YouTubers waxing lyrical about this and his price will gradually end up about 10s before his next race.
