2026 Grand National

The replay has made that significantly more impressive than I thought first time round. Didn't realise he had slipped so far back

Feel Jordan's might well have won had Ben not made that move. He'll be kicking himself.

Yet another example of very late money support for a Mullins favourite in a top class race. OK, we saw something similar in the first with Salvator Mundi and we saw how that went.

I know with Nicky there's been a gang of high roll punters connected to the yard, not sure how developed that is with the Mullins yard, but I'd be fairly confident that someone, or some people, with some connection to the yard, is behind these gambles.

Don't forget that up until around lunchtime today, it was a strong perception that Panic Attack, who had been the subject of sustained support over the last 2/3 days, was expected to go off favourite.

I’m sure I backed IAM for a supreme when with Nicky, never would have thought he’d become a modern day national legend

Join the club, turned out to be some horse, didn't he !
Yes. Had him at fancy odds, 4 years back I think for the Supreme when he was with Nicky. Different owners, who got sucked into a nice offer no doubt at the time. Interesting that it went to Willie's after that. Wonder what the reasoning was behind that.

Yep, i also had him backed at nice odds for the supreme, then witnessed him get turned over at short odds at exeter !

Another great ride from Paul. On the inside all the way round. So many jockeys must’ve lost 40 lengths being 8 or more wide all the way. Didn’t see it comping, but impressed. Shame he didn’t win last year, could’ve been there on the bounce.

Had a decent early crack at I Am Maximus for the NHC at 16s. Before he won the Irish National and lost his novice status in April

Id imagine the jockey on jordans would like another go

Absolute rush of blood to the head that was

Only one winner after he did that. Could see IAM just slowly picking them off 1 by 1

….thought exactly the same, Ben Jones clearly didn’t listen to both McCoy and Walsh on TV in the morning talking about not going too early and getting the timing right.

Also thought of @darlojim passing on some info of Jordan’s not taking to the fences at home, the commentary suggested he did make a mistake after Canal Turn so it was some effort to put himself in contention.

Couldn't believe it as he made that progress down the back, was praying he wasn't going to win as he was one I specifically asked on :ROFLMAO:

But yeah the footage I seen of him schooling he was awful, stuttered into 4/6 fences iirc sat in behind Banbridge and Solness, certainly made up for it yesterday
