I'd say Willie wants to win another national with Patrick on board. There was a lot to like about his Bobby Joe win.

It would be a fitting end to Cheveley Park's 12 year or so flirtation with the jumps.

Think he’ll really enjoy going from the front round Aintree on this ground. 16s with skybet paying 3 places seems generous given he’s the second highest rated in the field.

Also suprised to see flutter open back up with Doyen Quest at 16s in the Mildmay. Arrives fresh and his form ties in with a few at the top of the market, thought he would have been single figures.

Loving those first two picks.

Gerri must be one of best handicapped horses in the race based on lots of his previous form and looks to have been really well trained for the race .

Always said he was a National horse. Time to prove it.
