Something had to go Turners, they couldn't all head to the Supreme....
He was going to the Turners or the Bartlett.

Yeah true, though that was odd in itself for a horse who hasn't been further than 20f and even dropped back in trip earlier in season. He was going to the Turners or the Bartlett.
Would be unlike Mullins though no ?MP fav again now for Turners. Think Q will be proved right and he'll be pulled tomorrow.
Would be unlike Mullins though no ?
Usually leaves them in everything until actual decs…

Yeah the logistics may well be different with JP but there’s always uncertainty on ground this far out, just makes no sense pulling a horse from the shorter race in case there’s a deluge next week and ground goes deep again…JP though. Does he usually give things away at 6 day decs.
They're usually pretty selective with the early entries. Like Fact to File...
Yeah I get the feeling he was penciled in early for the supreme despite the unfortunate unseat. If they'd like Cobden to have another go it would be this race. No Nicholls horse in the Supreme and he has a leading fancy in the Turners.Interesting that The Reverend's price is holding firm around 28 on the Exchange, despite not getting a mention in Willie's stable tour yesterday.
Yeah its not really important which race he's shorter for, as he'd be shorter in the turners if he ran in it anyway than he would be in the supreme. In saying that though, there's a few fair numbers waiting to back him at 11s and 12s
128 @ 11s
260 @ 12s
Casey said it at a preview according to the tireless @gaultstats
Could you not argue this for every novice, until they ALL meet at the festival?
FWIW, and I could be wrong here, I don't think the Irish 2 milers are up to much this season, and a big possibility El Cairos is the best of them without being given the chance to properly prove it. I certainly think he's the quickest, he just needs to jump better.
Henderson has shown 3 times in the last 10 years that, when he has a live one, he can deliver in this race. 2 of them became elite chasers.I’m concerned about old park star, I think he’s more of a Sprinter Sacre than a Con Hill - it’s a nice comparison, but what I mean by that is, I think he’ll be much better over a fence and may struggle in a supreme
Yeah, I'm not really sure why he has stated 2013 when it doesn't tally up with when the race changed to 2m, alternatively he could have included 2m-2m2f in it.
I only stuck it up to be non-bias in my opinion, as I think graded form in general matters more so than just G1 form, which was the original post by @Killiney
Personally I think Talk The Talk is only being spoken of so highly because there is nothing else from Ireland that has looked useful over 2m, or at least hasn't be tried in a higher grade yet, El Cairos & Mighty Park, for example.
It's telling that the horses he has looked like beating or beaten are all heading up in trip even though they would not look to have too much ground to make up!
