2026 Juveniles

She’s beaten a 121 rated horse by 2.5 lengths getting 4lb. They’re both entitled to have improved, but I’d be surprised if they give her more than a couple of pounds. Might even be unchanged.
There's also 134 and 116 horses well back behind, and she's almost done it on the bridle, got once slap with the whip I think. Tricky one to call but would be amazed if she was unchanged.

3lb penalty for her

so 124

2.5L win

127ish

ease of win is what they'll pretty much tax her I'd say

How the hcapper saw it, she could have won by 8 if she'd wanted

Think they'll give her 3/4 lbs

and drop Harrys

The 134 horse is on French form though. I don’t think that will be taken literally. I certainly wasn’t expecting a run to form from that yard …

I can’t see it getting a mark north of 130, personally.

12/1 NRNB with Hills in their specials for anyone interested.

Yep, they'll not rank the race on anything other than the front 2.
Most likely outcome is they assess that both have improved a bit.

She’s nowhere near triumph material ladies and gents, surely we don’t think she is? As Q says even with the 7lbs she needs at least another 10 imo.

Narcisco Has looks like one who’ll relish Cheltenham as well so no doubt improvement to come from him as well.
Narciso has gone up in the ratings for doing absolutely nothing though. I wouldn't using ratings too much when it comes to juveniles.

He was beaten first time out, beat trees on second run, and then turned the form around with mange tout, who herself wasn't one of the standouts from France form wise so no idea how good she is either. Selma de vary having her first run for mullins and looking like they weren't even trying to win with her looked dangerous against him at one point too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Doncaster run has been underrated, with the front two pulling well clear and Tralee Girl being beaten out of sight having previously finished a lot closer to two solid yardsticks in her previous two runs (accepting TL didn’t run to the same level at Donny) . I don’t think today’s winner necessarily had the run of the race today and she has impressed me there. Agreed she may not be good enough to win a Triumph but I don’t think she is 17 pound inferior to the favourite either. She could easily have a few pounds still in hand for the FW.

Last chance to snap up the 12s Fantasy World for the Triumph this morning, is going to be a very warm order in his hurdling debut at Musselburgh and any sort of win likely to see his Triumph odds shorten.
NRNB insurance a must though....

Yep , either shortens and becomes a player or non runner.
Cheers, I’m in.

Listening to Nicky on Nick Luck, you’d not be in much doubt that the Fred Winter is the plan for Manlaga, bar a massive hike in the weights.

I'd be fairly sure she won't be seen in a Triumph.
Won well yesterday so is clearly a talented horse but I think they've realised she hasn't improved enough to justify taking her chance in a G1, especially as Hendo has Fantasy World and you'd have to think JP knows how unlikely it is his filly can finish ahead of her.
I'm not convinced the Fred Winter is a smart plan either, every chance there's a dozen Irish very well in...

….surprised no TWAF so far this morning.

Even Tom Malone buys better stock than that, she'll lose interest very quickly given what she's had run for her so far in the NH sphere.
