I think Keep Him Company is a smashing bet here. Reminds me of Jalon. Looks the best of Gordon’s and I could see him going off very short. Potentially even favourite.

Hopefully you mean very short to win the turners, which I've backed him for, on the assumption that fat man would run him over hurdles ffs

Green Hint @ 25/1 NRNB looks a swing to nothing. Very heavy favourite here. Win here and you'd presume he goes here at a smallish price. Lose and he'd not be on the boat.

Oh my word 16s nrmb not the worst bet imo just connections change there mind and head across for the bumper

I was told he'd got a suspensory

By someone who is on the money nearly always

So if playing, definitely advise nrnb.

…..whilst there’s an understandable focus on the best of the Irish, there is an interesting bumper at Newbury tomorrow, with the Pipe trained No Walkover and Skelton’s Risky Obsession putting this seasons unbeaten records on the line.

No Walkover is a general 20-1 CB and as low as 12-1 with Corals whilst RO is a general 25-1 for the Festival, so maybe a little surprising the latter has opened up favourite.

In a recent article, Jamie Codd highlighted No Walkover for the Festival which has to be a positive given his insight to what Irish have. Hills offer 66-1 WTAF NW, 50-1 WTAF RO.

I thought Risky Obsession looked very very green in debut. If he’s learnt from his maiden win, I think he’ll be very hard to beat. I’ve played both 25/1 NRNB.

That 66s No Walkover is fair enough.
I have a friend who is in the syndicate that owns the Pauling horse, they say he is a very good horse but at the moment is a nutjob who acts like a loon in the ring and on the way to post exerting way too much energy that ends his chance, but over time you’d expect him to mature, if he settles tomorrow he could be a threat….

Was fav last time out giving weight to Risky Obsession, which would tie in with him showing plenty at home. Could be a hot little race tomorrow, which I think adds a bit of substance to the WTAF bet to be honest.

From what was said, Smile John Boy lost all chance by boiling over in the preliminaries and they were amazed he got as close as he did, I think they’ll be quite keen on reversing that form but it’s hard to know how good the Skelton horse is.
That said, I think Newbury might actually be under threat tomorrow, plenty of rain fell yesterday and a fair bit more due today, and if they do survive there’s 3 hurdles races before the bumper, that ground will be horrific….
