2026 Champion Hurdle

The thing with Lossie and those that have not backed her yet.
She is still a very good price, and available at close to 3-1 on the exchange.
2 things may stop her from going off at even money IMO.
Con Hill lining up.
Or she gets beat next week.
Most likely to beat her though is the other mare. And even if she did, most would happily take 3-1 her reversing that in March.
Anzadam probably the only real wild card at play. Not convinced myself but it would not be a shock.

She's ran to 160 RPR the last twice - add another 7 and any gelding has to run to 167.
Her official Irish rating is 159, so again - something has to run to 166.
It's not like she's inconsistent or doesn't like the track either.
Do you make those runs stronger form than the Christmas Hurdle run behind Con Hill ?

Is el fab worth chancing? He likely has the most latent ability of them all bar the hill
Yeah I had this running through my head earlier, my hang up with him is (similar to Con Hill) he started guessing at his fences and I can't trust him enough not to do this over hurdles, but I haven't dismissed him.
25/1 is tempting...

After what happened with SirGino, and then taking out AOI out of the farcical situation with the last race, I think that tells us all about the chances of risking Con Hill.
Don’t be surprised if Const.Hill turns up. I’ve heard they are working on his jumping and believe he deserves his chance. All this before SurGino’s injury.

Yeah I’ve got him onside at big odds just in case he has the grade 1 quality over hurdles that he had over fences.
It’s more hopeful than anything, but the way this race is going , who knows??
Be very interesting if he runs next week how he fares.

A week from now we will know a lot more .......................... or not :ROFLMAO:

Con Hill 3/1
El Fabiolo 12/1
Both NRNB prices with Corals
There's an argument they aren't horrible prices...
