2026 Novice Hurdlers

I know several others are keen on him but was really taken with Classical Creek's run at Navan a few weeks ago. Keep getting Ginto vibes from him..

Both scored a 95 RPR for their respective PTP victories
Two bumper runs apiece, Ginto RPR 101, 118, Classical 102, 120
Hurdles debut in the same 2m4f race at Navan. Both went off odds on and won convincingly, Ginto RPR 128 Classical 135

Ginto then went for the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Navan (which is being run this Saturday) before the Lawlors and his ill fated run in the Albert. If Classical Creek follows this route then I hope he doesn't impress too much and give GE thoughts of the Turners (a la the Yellow Clay).

Whilst I don't think either have any chance in it, he does have Kalypso and Koktail potentially for the Turners this year. The campaigning of Theflyingking also fuels my belief that CC is earmarked as his Bartlett horse. Theflyingking would have seemed a decent AB option but is looking more like a handicap plot at this stage - meaning GE has something better up his sleeve for the AB.

25's with Bet 365 has a lot of appeal.

Yep, big fan of him after that run.

I was amazed and still am that the 25's was/is about.

Mydaddypaddy declared for a three horse race at Haydock on Wednesday.

Slightly worried that there's no 2m Grade 1 entry for Fou De Toi over Xmas. He's not shed his maiden tag so was unlikely to run anyway, but I did expect an entry at least. Many others in the same position as him, including Doctor Du Mesnil, Copacabana, Leader D'Allier, Saint Baco, Bambino Fever etc. all hold entries.

Have a look at the entries last year

Ah! Ha. Were any other maidens entered that year at this stage? I don't recall.

Not that it really matters. All guess work.

Final Demand
Funiculi
Kaid d'authie (was declared and fell @ Navan later that week post entries)
Kiss Will
Redemption Day

Plenty..

On the plus side there'll be no County curveball....

Final Demand. He could be a good one.

Yes, fair enough. I withdraw my concern. In fact, based on last year's habits, he must be Willie's best ...

Turned up, like Klassical Dream did, in the maiden @ Leopardstown on Boxing Day, and won.

Let's hope the same for Fou De Toi.

….365 out on a limb offering 50-1 on Fou for Turners but in line with others in thinking he’s a Supreme candidate at 16-1.

If markets are anything to go by, it’s Fou Sup & DDM Turn.

DOCTOR DU MESNIL entered in the Grade 1 2m Future Stars Champion Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown - 27th December:
Didn't I read they thought this one needed a trip and would be trained with mid/staying races in mind ?
Or did I dream that....

Think they outlined the mid trip in the stable tours didn't they?

His bumper win was 2m 3f as well. So that'd line up with the longer trips than 2m. Got to start somewhere though...

Doubt very much if any of the maidens in those entries from Mullins will line up.
Any that have not had a run yet will probably need to be lining up and winning a maiden this weekend.
