2026 Novice Chasers

Jumping technique reminded me of Ahoy Senor, which is certainly no good thing 😂

Both Kopek and demand shortening prior to weekend. Value surely gone at this point.
Looking for a few more roll ups 👊

Completely gone............unless they both go odds on in March in which case they are both huge prices.

Final Demand declared.

Gordon pitching 4 against him, Ballybow, Lucky Lyreen, My Trump Card & Wingmen, so it should be a good race.

Ballybow is another I had been pondering for a longshot in the BANC. Karniquet confirmed as out, Gold Dancer not getting a good mention from Patrick narrows the field down for Gigginstown. Interested to see how he fares

‘He’s in great form, schools well, I’m very pleased with his jumping. This looks a lovely place to start him off for the season and if he wins that will be a bonus. As always with what could be a potentially top-class novice chaser, all you want you to see is a clear round on the first day.

But he’s fit and well and the two miles and a furlong trip shouldn’t be a problem to him. The ground will be nice and safe; he has a bold style of running and softer ground is always safer for that sort of horse.’

Final Demand;
‘He jumps well, Paul Townend is very happy with how he handles fences. I think this trip will suit him; he’ll go much further as time goes on but under these conditions it will feel like three miles anyhow. It’s a nice starting point for him.’

My word, some chat from Willie that :ROFLMAO:

Great form
Schools well
Pleased with his jumping
Lovely place to start

BUT WILL BE A BONUS IF HE WINS!

This is the peak 2m novice hurdler from last season he's talking about.

Also 'two miles and a furlong trip shouldn't be a problem to him' Oh really, how did you come up with that?

They should both sluice home.

What’s people’s thoughts on stencil ? Fancied for the triumph earlier and I’m curious as to why debut over fences in the trial today and not an easier option

….Hills go 25-1 Arkle for July Flower, others a general 20-1. (Hills also biggest 10-1 Mares Chase.)

Be plotted towards a handicap youd imagine.
