Cheltenham Festival Roll-Ups

Has anyone watched much of the women’s rugby World Cup or had a bet on it?

England v Scotland in the knock out stages.

England are 5/6 with Hills and Betvictor -41.5 on the handicap, 10/11 with Betfair, Paddys, Betfair and Ladbrokes at -40 on the handicap and 10/11 with Bet365 at -40.5

Looks like that good be a decent addition to a roll up.

They’ve won their 3 group games 92-3 v Samoa, 69-7 v USA and 47-7 v Australia.

Their last 3 games v Scotland have been
59-7 a few months ago, 46-0 in 2024 and 58-7 in 2023.

As a comparison Australia are ranked one place lower than Scotland in the world rankings, one 7th, the other 6th, but when they played each other last year Australia beat Scotland 31-22. England are ranked number one.

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this?
Just looking at the numbers think England should be able to cover that handicap by 5 points.

11/8 isn’t great value but I think Carrigmoornaspruce should be hard to beat in the first at Listowel tomorrow.

She was mixing it with the best of a good bunch of mares in bumpers last season & looks like the stamp of a horse that will come on plenty for a hurdle.

Declan Queally’s yard are absolutely flying currently, he seems to be producing his best crop early in the season. They’ve booked the same 7lb claimer that won on Rocky’s Diamond who the trainer said after the race to take note when he’s booked on any of his as it’s a good sign.

I disagree, 11/8 is a great roll up price, getting a 137% boost on your festival pick/picks is a great boost.
Great work…

Aye, be very happy getting 11/8 about one that goes off 8/13 and wins 'readily'. Good shout.

Kinda annoyed I sat on this one but here goes

I've gotten quite into baseball having been to see the Mariners last season.

And the play is Milwaukee Brewers for the World Series at 11/2

Before their game yesterday they were the 18/1 rank outsiders, probably because their post season record is atrocious.

However, best record in baseball and absolutely smoked the Cubs yesterday has seen their price frefall. But they are still double the price of the Dodgers - who the Brewers swept this season. Now maybe experience will tell, the Dodgers do have an outrageous team and are coming into form. But they also have a harder series Vs the Phillies, then you're getting double the price for a team that hasn't lost to their oppo all season for the National League. If they win that, I can't see someone from the AL stopping them - Mariners are bottle jobs, Detroit had one of the worst Septembers of all time and the Yankees just got dicked by the Blue Jays.

Embrace a date with destiny. Brewers 11/2

Invariably by posting in here it is destined to fail, but if you want a shortish priced roll up then Dobey to beat Menzies in the darts tonight at 1/2 looks a safe price. I'm greedier so have gone for the 31/20 for him to win 2-0. Dobey is in great form currently having won the Players Championship 17 in September and made the semi's of the World Series. Menzies is a proverbial choker when it comes to TV events and made the headlines 3 weeks back when recording an average of just 66 coincidentally in a match against Dobey where it was stated he has a lot going on both on and off the oche. Dobey has a fantastic head to head record so with the pressures Menzies will face in front of a televised crowd then I expect Dobey to coast to victory.

It always baffles me why people push the boundaries with roll ups, the 1/2 shot gives every Cheltenham horse a 50% price push, which I assume is the aim ?
Turn 8/1 shots into 12/1, 20/1 shots into 30/1.
I wish you well with the 2-0 and hope it lands for you, personally I can’t see alot wrong with the bet you liked from the outset…

So much for that. Dobey was atrocious and barely put Menzies under any kind of pressure,

Hope this post doesn’t go off on a tangent but somebody posted recently that a lot of Scottish division one and two matches have more than 2.5 goals. I can’t remember who posted it but this has been really good for me for roll ups so thanks to that person.

Not a big flat fan but Ed Dunlop has a serious horse in his yard, Pathein, goes in a hot G3 today but a top 4 finish is 5/6 and looks a fantastic opportunity to get a few 83% price boosts on some Cheltenham fancies…

Job one done! Their first ever post season series win! Now the small matter of the Dodgers

Sorry @robith but hoping to see the Blue Jays win it. Seen them a few times now and Canada expects!
Had a bad Sept but as you said spanked the Yankees. Hoping Bichette is back for tonight/tomorrow (1st game) which should make us stronger to beat.

Edamura form lines 👀

Yeah and was nicely holding the Macaire horse @ Strasbourg the time prior before coming down

Obviously Killing Bid was running nice enough race too before coming down yesterday so depth to the form.

Troubleinparadise looked like he was going to be last going the final flight LTO but picked up again under a ride.

Have had a small go at Troubleinparadise 11.55 Fontainebleau @ 9/4 in a roll up.

Less said the better about that ride

Disgusting stuff from Bryony, half arsed attempt to nudge him out after the last and quickens up well.
