Cheltenham Festival Handicaps

He didn't Ryan. Was pulled up in Scottish national last season. Ran in grand national year before, finishing 8th.

Checked again on sporting life.. Didn't run.. It was the Irish grand national he ran in wasn't it?

Oh yeah sorry guys, I saw April on the history and for some reason read Aintree not Ayr.

With CoC's Cheltenham record I'd say it is impossible they won't run at Cheltenham. Grand National is far enough away ...

Would we be feeling any more or less confident on CoC after trials day or nothing really changed?

Id forgive it.

Someone keen to back Dodging Bullets for the Grand Annual on Betfair. Hardly been plotted ?

Cheers OV. Anyone reccomend going in again on CoC?

Is Mall Dini not more likely to run in the Kim Muir?

I might go in again

Im a Mall Dini fan too and was wondering where he'll end up running too.

This isn't a dig at anyone, but my three year old son could see that Mall Dini has been a blatant non trier this season (same as last season too) and Mr Smith surely won't be letting him away lightly.

He won the Pertemps off 139 so my guess is he'll be rated 143 if not slightly higher. It's a high risk strategy backing these Irish horses in handicaps before we have an idea of his mark.

It has been pretty obvious alright!! He was even touted on Final Furlong podcast by Brian Cooper. But as you say the handicapper will have picked up on it too and will hit him plus the added few pound for being Irish ;)

I wont be doing any bets for handicaps before Mr Smith has had his say. Anyone know when that is?

Last season the entries were announced on 25th February, with weights released 2nd March. I assume it's around the same time this season

Don't Touch It - Grand Annual.

Does anyone know if Younevercall is injured or is being kept for the Festival. Looks a serious horse for a 2m 4f - 3m handicap hurdle.

Yes agree about Dont touch it, i see he is entered up next week, doesnt want to be doing any harm to his mark!
