2023 Mares Novice Hurdle

Bloody good spot Eggs. She'd be right at the bottom of the County HCP if she got in . She's a Mullins Novice. Definitely Graded horse. Right age......and has had 4 runs! One of the few Willie Novices to be 'qualified.'

I think I've talked myself into a AP Handicap bet for the first time in a long while!!!

I did the AD (County) Night and Day (Mares N) double before the Solerina. Would love them to be split that way.

Lot of Joy looking to lose her maiden status at Fairyhouse next Wednesday

Between Waters not declared at Carlisle on Monday, but is entered at Southwell on Wednesday & Ffos Las on Thursday.

Liberty Dance to do the double? Tomorrow and Mares novice - 14/1 I think I saw last night...

Will need to keep improving but I thoguht she did it well last time, and the horse she put away won (albeit scrappily) next time

Think she'll do very well to give Risk Belle all that weight. If she does then she has a serious chance at Cheltenham. Can't see it though.

The 8lb 4length beating of Foxy Girl reads very well though

And at Warwick on Saturday. I suspect they could well be going for a late bumper campaign and novice hurdles next season at this stage!

Please don't back her for the Bumper guys !!!

Has anyone heard anything about the wellbeing of Deeply Superficial? Thought her form took a bit of a boost at the DRF

The owners of Between Waters must have some bill racked up with the BHA so far this season for entry fees. Only has a bumper entry for the weekend to her name now from what I see, I'm beginning to think they may plan to keep her back until next year as each week passes without a hurdle declaration

Lot of Joy...

“She’s learning and bringing her back to two miles was probably the best thing to do. She’s learning to race like a National Hunt mare now rather than a Flat mare,” said Mullins.
“She’s settling better and jumping better. We’re very pleased with her progress.

“She’s in the mares’ novice at Cheltenham and I’d imagine that will be her next target. She’ll be easier to ride there as there is usually a very good pace in that. We’re looking forward to it.”

Bumper run this weekend and then the same Sandown bumper as Lucia won last year. Then novice hurdlijg next year is my guess.
