Faking or pretending you’ve done or heard something and passing it off as your own experience is one thing. If he’s doing that then he should stop.
But in his defence, surely we all regurgitate and/or process information.
You don’t wake up with knowledge you have to read and watch and listen and experience stuff.
And he can’t help being posh.
Yes, he irritates me - but mainly for his hair and slow delivery. That might be my youtube speed setting though. :stupid:
I picture you all with good haircuts, so it keeps me calm (er).
Lobos - how's the afro ?
But good luck to Josh and anyone trying to do what he’s done.
Spot on...anyone claiming to have an original thought is deluding themself...at best it is original to them but someone else will have had it before them. There will always be injustice and there will always be people wishing they had made more use of their own thought process. We are all free to exploit our own and others thinking. If others are more determined or more capable of exploiting our own thinking than we are ourselves then we always have the option of being more purposeful ourselves. If we choose not to then why would we deny others that do so in our place.
I have had my thinking plagiarised regularly throughout my career and life and people have benefitted more from my brain financially than I have myself. The truth is they had and have more drive than I did and do. I don’t begrudge them. I am happy with my lot and happy to have contributed to theirs.
I get this is likely a minority view or perspective but is a different way to look at things perhaps. Whenever I listen to anybody exploiting intellectual property in the racing world I don’t see a person smarter than me or more knowledgeable than me I just see someone with more drive and more purpose than me.
