this week's entries

The french dynamite form looks pretty solid and with fitness on side think Ballyshannon Rose is a good each way bet. I'd like to think out of Scarlet and Dove, Elimay and Dolcita one of them will cry enough first time out.

Backed the same horse, ew, annoying when they just get beat coming to the line.

Irish point declared Sunday at Cork over 2m.

Be good to see a couple more to the mentioned Robcour horses with Absolute Notions running Saturday too.

Embassy Gardens and Itswhatunitesus both declared over 2m in the second race too.

Minella Crooner and Thdevilscoachman declared at Punchestown Sunday as well over just shy of 2m7f.

Just the 3 from Willie. :highly_amused:

Embassy Gardens seems a strange starting point over 2m. He looked like he needed 3m last season already.

Seanbank Bistro versus Top Speed will be a good match up over 2m5f.

Irish Point is in a pretty dire race so he should be winning that comfortably if he’s going to be any good.

Agreed. Was very surprised when Top Speed got the 2m entry. Glad to see him take up the 2m5f appointment instead.

Definitely the right trip for both and any decisive win should represent decent form.

Same race Monalee started in I believe, although race conditions have changed slightly with the race now being 1/2 a furlong shorter.

Top Speed has same connections too ...

Mulryans always want a ballymore runner so it'll be due to that and will step up later in the season if he's any good

Square peg, round hole in this case.

I understand the Mulryans wanting a runner in the race they sponsor, and it worked out for them with City Island, but the stubbornness every year to send horses there instead of races they might have a chance in is really something!

Couldn’t agree more!

They’ve been fixated ever since City Island won the race, he hasn’t done a tap since, that was one of Martin Brazil’s best training feats imo, Initially I had him backed for the Martin Pipe that year but he somehow beat Champ in the Ballymore & landed me a 50/1 freak result, don’t know if it was just my day that Wednesday as it coincided with Topofthegame winning the RSA for me at huge odds & both in a treble with Envoi Allen. Still don’t know how he won. Maybe he paid a visit Charles Byrnes chemist! Who knows, I don’t care anyway!

Vaguely remember Liverpool beating Bayern Munich in Munich that night too. Felt like a lotto win that day.

Edit: I think that Topofthegame shout was my first real post on here so most likely beginners luck!
